After this upcoming season![]()
When can the Spurs offer a Harden-like extension to Kawhi tbh?
After this upcoming season![]()
Damn. Thanks.
That's a bit more than the Spurs can offer. I wouldn't want go give him the LLE, a competent big is more needed.
i wonder if SA really has no idea on Manus plan?
I'd be shocked if Manu finally retires, tbh.
That's $8.55 m for 3 years or $2.85m per year. Is that over the LLE?
I believe it is also reported in after-tax money, making it even farther above the LLE.
Incorrect math.
With everyone under contract you have only 4 spots left not including Manu, Simmons and Pau. If you account for all 3, you only have 1 spot left which should be a legit 3rd string center.
guards= Murray, Mills, White, Tony, Danny, Forbes = 6 spots
(possible additions = Manu, Simmons) (2)
forwards: Kawhi, Anderson, Gay = 3 spots
bigs: LMA, Bertans = 2 spots
(possible = Pau) = 1
This is unusual since Spurs like to leave one spot for one of the camp invites but since Forbes' contract is not guaranteed we can count his spot as the one under dispute.
I had not seen that thanks for sharing.
I guess Manu really is not retiring.
that old geriatric rookie Hanga anyways. Only room for one old off the bench: Manu!!!!!
and Pau....
Spurpadre wants Manu back is all.
yea Hanga is same age as Simms, who nobody would call an old . He is just about 3-6 months in the same range as him is what I remember.

This Just In: Jamal Crawford plans to sign a two-year, $9M deal with the Timberwolves. More: es.pn/2tu2tbX
Hanga is excellent on D, shoots 40% from 3 (the euro 3 line) and makes good hard cuts, id rather have him than green
Go figure, you like gasol
Per the latest collective bargaining agreement of last December, teams are allowed to waive one player who was on their roster last summer, without his salary counting against the cap.
Teams that did not use it for last season faced a Tuesday deadline to trigger it for 2012-13. Those teams, like the Spurs, who have yet to use the amnesty provision can roll it over throughout the life of the CBA.

Did spurs ever use that?
Timberwolves look stout on paper.
Aren't there 17 spots to fill?
I am not counting the two way spots..
that could be anyone in the Austin team that would only come up if there are injuries, could be blossomgame, someone else they like? Doesn't matter.
Didn't realize the Timberwolves were such a desirable place to play.
Yeah, you're right. We have no better options at the 5
