I saw spurs have interest of bringing Lee back and now that Baynes is going to Boston, is it possible? Wouldn't mind having both back tbh. I know Boston was rumored to go after Dedmon so he's still out there for now thanks to Baynes.

I'm interested in both tbh The former over the latter though if we're picking and choosing.

For the right price, Lee is a good piece.

But PATFO have other options for a rim protector, especially when Bogut is still available. Having a good screener and rollman will be a major boost to the pick and roll game.

They wouldn't have to run very far before he breaks his foot and they catch him.

I want the Spurs to sign Dedmon but don't feel like Pop really love him. For some reason Pop barely played him in last playoffs.

Even when I'm not a big fan of McDonald, he's right about this.

Exactly. For some reason, Pop is looking elsewhere. Perhaps it was because of the way the offence suffers with Dedmon on the floor. He doesn't set hard picks to free up the guards and get motion sets going.

I'm not sure why Dedmon would want to come back to pops doghouse?

If Manu and Simmons return I believe that's 14 players on the roster. I'm sure we would make room if we could possible get two bigs though.

Yeah, even if they are committed to mostly only playing 1 traditional big at a time, I find it hard to believe they'll only go with 3 period on roster. Same time, it's difficult to pinpoint who'd be moved. Don't want to overblown portion of Summer League, but Forbes appears worth keeping and is making White pick and Mills re-signing look all the more questionable. One, fine, but both was and is unnecessary.

Priority should be finding a true C, though one with more mobility than Bogut . . . but word is they remain interested in Lee, which leads me to believe either Ginobili or Simmons isn't returning or unexpected trade is going down.

I wouldn't bring back Lee. Gay fills role as minutes eating PF and don't want Pop to lean fall back on traditional lineups or take away minutes from young players.

There are many players for whom this statement has not applied.

Thought somebody ran some metrics when Dedmon was in the starting 5 / in early with Kawhi. The numbers kicked ass.

Yeah "a true C" is really important this season. They are bound to be weighing their options and don't have a lot to spend, especially if Manu and Simmons return. I haven't heard a word about Lee, but agree with you about not seeing us rolling with only 3 bigs.
