His version of Saturnalia is actually what we celebrate as Christmas today. Christmas broken down is Christ Mass, so when we say Merry Christmas we're actually saying Merry Death of Christ. The Bible warns us of celebrating holidays ("You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that my efforts for you may have been in vain" Galatians 4:11). Nowhere in the Bible does it say we are to celebrate the life or death of Jesus Christ. A lot of Christians are being deceived. In fact, most of the holidays (Holy Days) we celebrate now coincide with Pagan solstices.
