Some of the sharpest people I know are drop outs who started their own business.
im sure that's true. and some of the dumbest people i know are drop outs
but when you look at the big picture, average salaries go like this
professional degrees > doctoral degrees > masters degrees > bachelors degrees > associate degrees > high school diplomas > no high school diplomas
that's not to say there are no poor people with professional degrees or no rich people that dropped out of high school. just pointing out the big picture instead of anecdotes
Repugs are bad for America
I don't know about negative impact but I'd think someone that gets a degree in history and doesn't teach probably has at best a neutral impact on society.
