The Spurs' engine is a turbocharged 5 cylinder block with 4 of the cylinders running on blown gaskets. The Warriors engine is a well-oiled naturally aspirated 8 cylinder block competing in a race meant only for 5 cylinder-engined cars.
Joel Anthony is the cinderblock the car rests on after the wheels were stolen by Steve Kerr.
Tim Duncan is the Pirelli tires that took the car on the annual road trip. Some road trips were longer than others, but each one went late into spring. They lasted far beyond the warranty but even top notch tires must eventually be disposed of. Luckily, the tires are broken down and repurposed. Still deciding his next journey, but the owner has been keeping him around.
