I wish him the best wherever he goes.
I wish him the best wherever he goes.
My is gonna block Fathead and Green's layups in the playoffs, you know it's coming. Just hope he doesn't pick Houston, OKC, GS, or Minnesota who would all send this mediocre team fishing in 4 or 5
You guys have exactly two athletic players. The rest are strictly Pop system players. I wonder which team will offer more money than Pop is willing to give him?![]()
I'm shocked at how many SA fans that watched Simmons make him out to be such a good player. I like Simmons, I'd be happy he's back but people seem to have this image of him as an above avenge player
After years of taking a paycut and playing off the bench when every other team would start him, can you really blame him for doing that? I see your point, though.
speaking of schticks, yours is getting old and tiring. Criticizing Manu is the weakest troll attempt ever, yet you continue to run with it at every opportunity.
its such a pain in the ass to try and fish through garbage in this forum to read decent takes...

Free agent Jonathon Simmons is talking to several teams on the market now, league sources tell ESPN. No assurance he returns to Spurs.
It's the allure of his athleticism, tbh. He's probably one of the most athletic players we've had in the Pop era. Still, he's not a special player.
So be it. Thank goodness they didn't over pay him.
It's more like he was the ONLY player to step up when Kawhi went down..would I overpay for Simmons..NO..but they do need his skill set quite badly tbh.
Known Manure fluffer and Parker hater is mad at me. Brings me tears of joy :') now dance for me
That's just false imo. Kyle stepped up just as much impact wise. Also SA needs the skillset of what Simmons HOPED to be. His actual skills are mediocre
So the 9 million offer was go keep others away and then we renounce him and then get him for cheap.
If he resigns for anything cheaper than 9 mil the Spurs are Gods
A team that is tanking no doubt. He's fun to watch some times and brutal others. No way is he worth more than 3 to 4 million even in the present basketball economy. Spurs know it and other teams do as well.
If he doesn't sign with the Spurs (which I think it's still the most likely scenario), he will probably sign with a Brooklyn Nets' type team, imho.
Malik Hairston syndrome
He was good in the playoffs. He was an average player, with above average athleticism. Pop's strategy obviously doesn't value athleticism. He's done pretty well that way - the league seems to be moving in another direction.
I just saw that Paul's deal was guaranteed? Rumors are worth what you pay for them, but if that's true, the chances of Simmons winding up here are pretty close to zero.
Feel bad for Kawhi tbh... he's the only Harden stopper we have left.
Who are we hiding Green on, tbh? We all know CP3 impregnates his girl every time they play
We have no confirmation that anyone offered him 9 million, just an early report. That seemed really high for a dude that didn't even make 1 Mill per and averaged 6 pts a game. I'm so friggin skeptical about the news. Not Donald Trump skeptical, but close.
Reminds me of the Pops Mensah Bonsu love affair.![]()
Playoffs basketball is the only Harden stopper we need, tbh.
He's better than that dude at least. But he's no Derek Anderson, either, another decent athletic player we only had briefly.
