Free agent Jonathon Simmons is talking to several teams on the market now, league sources tell ESPN. No assurance he returns to Spurs.
It's the allure of his athleticism, tbh. He's probably one of the most athletic players we've had in the Pop era. Still, he's not a special player.

If he doesn't sign with the Spurs (which I think it's still the most likely scenario), he will probably sign with a Brooklyn Nets' type team, imho.

He was good in the playoffs. He was an average player, with above average athleticism. Pop's strategy obviously doesn't value athleticism. He's done pretty well that way - the league seems to be moving in another direction.
