LBJ and whoever he would like to come with him
if spurs see paul as a less expensive version of j simmons, and they balked at anything to do with chandler's contract, i think this can also be interpreted as the spurs having their eyes set on someone in summer 2018.
LBJ and whoever he would like to come with him
I just watched the Cleveland v. Golden state summer league game. Passed the eye test as an nba athlete for sure.
Stroke looked good. Good athlete. Explosive in transition. Defense looked good when focused and locked in.
He looked real shaky bringing the ball up when mccaw pressured him once. He was lucky to get the ball out of his hands after fumbling it and then immediately comes off a screen and gets it right back and buries a three in the face of mccaw and bell.
Needs to work on his defensive fundamentals. At the end of the half he was the deep defender back in charge of stopping penetration and just leaves the middle to go guard the wing for a three point shot and leaves the path to the basket wide open. Pop would have flipped out on him for that.
Didn't run out plays coming down the court on defense once or twice. Just seemed a little spaced out at times and not paying attention on defense.
will he be able to switch Spurs for the SL playoffs?
Guess we can expect him to contribute in three years... If he gets over himself.
Looks like we're tanking.
Yup, only 55 wins and 2nd or 3rd round exit coming. Total garbage!
Roger mason 2.0?
Assuming Simmons leaves...Only Parker, and Anderson are the two players that aren't natural shooters.
Everyone can let it fly now assuming they play small.
Another Summer League star? smh
Another? Forbes is carrying white American girls and Livio Jean-Charles out there. RC doing #summerleague power moves
I wonder if Brandon Paul signing is a reaction of Murray's poor play? I mean he signed a guaranteed contract right?
Rather busts on Simmons and Hanga contracts. You will have Green, Forbes, Paul at SG, if Manu comes back, he'll wont take many minutes from this guys.
anyone know his contract details?
Its not our job to understand what there doing, that's their job & what they get paid to do to, which is put a winning product on the court and stay compe ive to compete for championships . Our jobs as fans its to cheer them on, So as long as they are winning lets not complain.
Thanks for breaking that down for us
Our "job" is to pay their asses. In order to do that, we have to be interested in their product. The motivations we use to maintain that interest is under our discretion, to PATFO's. So if we want to hate on them, we can. And they shouldn't give a about what we think unless we stop paying them. If we do, you better believe that making us "understand what there doing" is going to shoot way up on their list or priorities.
Not to belittle or dismiss your deserved opinion.. But stop & think for a moment! They have produced a winning product for this great city of SA for 20 seasons and we've been right there to compete for rings in each season. During these great runs through the years they've made good decisions on & off the court ( styles of play, signing players you've never heard of & and some washed up ones that make you question why ) even with all that they have produced a winning product. Believe in that they know what there doing. There is a reason for the SPURS have the mantra of " Their the GOLD STANDARD " in basketball spoken by all across the NBA land... Cheer them on and ride the wave until we actually have something to complain about...
I forget its the offseason, all we have is the Summer league to keep us from pulling what little hair we have left out.

I thought our "job" was to and whine over every single thing this team does...
And insult each other every chance we get. They pay's rotten, but the hours stink.
No. We can if we want to. We pay PATFO, not the other way around. The team runs on our money, not our praise. And if we want to complain while we pay, they have no business stopping us.
