Final two spots should be Manu and Pau but if Manu retires... any good 3's left?

Afflalo, Dunleavy, Moute, Rush? They any good? Rather go young or go with a vet?

Go young. I'm tired of these vets just taking up playing time that need to go to young players in order to grow. And even more with those names you just listed.

You play your serviceable vets so you don't put to much pressure on young players/stunt their development/confidence. Moute or afflalo aren't bad pickups ; I prefer moute.....

Ideally but this Pop we're talking about. Some young guy with potential is going to ride the pine until he gets over himself while ty ass players like a Dunleavy gets minutes over the young guy. Let's not act like this hasn't happened before.

At "winning being the focus" for Paul. I know it's typical cliché , but if that were truly the case, how does he explain spurning the team with a championship pedigree, who won 6 more games and beat the Rockets in the playoffs, edging them sans their two primary ball handlers, one of whom is their best player and annihilating them by 39 in a road closest without said players?

Totally agree. But tbh I felt there were too many questions and moving parts for him to come to SA over Hou..

I assume also Houston sold him on the possibility of adding another friend in Melo..

Probably true, but reality is, if he wanted to come badly enough, he'd have came . . . playing high-school was the priority though.

It won't happen, but I'd laugh if they have a disappointing season, he's uncomfortable basically being a co-PG and he's either open to coming or wants to use Spurs for leverage again. I wouldn't even take the call and I'm not sure why Pop continues with this phony buddy-buddy routine with a lot of these superstars. They show him what they truly think of him and the culture with their actions.

Why do posters keep buying the these players are selling?

ESPECIALLY with the way kawhi was kicking their ass in the playoffs.

He obviously wanted to go the team that could give him the most money. All of us know it. But it's politically incorrect for an athlete to ever admit it was about the money

Still boggles my mind that we don't have either Simmons or Hanga on the roster now. We need players that can guard multiple positions, especially SGs and SFs.

Is Hanga no longer a possibility? I have not kept up near what I used to and got the impression from the board it was a no brainer he was coming this year but it sounds like he is staying in Europe in which case, he probably will never come. Another Viktor Sandkidze.
