The AP Just Exposed A Major Donald Trump Jr. Lie About Russia Meeting

Natalia Veselnitskaya, the Associated Press reported today that she had information alleged to show that illegal funds were being sent to the Democratic National Committee.

The existence of printed pages about supposed DNC misdeeds which Veselnitskaya brought along in a plastic folder and discussed with Trump Jr., his brother-in-law Jared Kushner and Trump’s campaign manager Paul Manafort, came out today

Trump Jr. had previously confirmed the meeting with Veselnitskaya but had not disclosed the fact Akhmetshin was also in attendance. Trump Jr. had also said he did not get any of the promised negative information he had been promised.

In an interview with NBC News, Veselnitskaya had a different version. She admitted she had brought along a two-page do ent which included allegations about DNC improperly receiving funds.

“He clearly asked me if I had any financial records to back and support the idea that some funds from illegal sources went to DNC, went to Hillary Clinton,” Veselnitskaya told NBC News.

“In reply to that, I told him that not only I don’t have any financial records of that time – there was no chance that I could somehow, anyhow, have such records.”

Akhmetshin did not know if Veselnitskaya got the do ents from the Russian government but he does think she left them with Trump Jr. and associates.
