Exactly the job he did on Harden was amazing. Few players have defended him as well as he did. It's a waste to let that go. It's good to have multiple defensive options.

ruthless, tbh..
Goals:"I have goals and I'm trying to attack them," said Simmons. "I think Orlando is the perfect place to do that."

Good article about Jonathon Simmons for the fans, led Farewell Jonathon Simmons, we hardly knew ye.

lol J Simmons trying to make it seem he made the right decision.
gtfo here bruh, you would of gotten your minuets if you would of signed with us.. now you going to be wasting your prime years trying to prove nothing dumb , your lose.
dont be ing crying back to the spurs once your washed the up
Simmons mistake was to hire a rookie agent. When you are going for possibly your only big payday you can't hire an inexperienced agent. The agent was the one who likely set his expectations way too high probably to entice Simmons to sign with him and then blamed the Spurs for his inability to deliver. That, no doubt, raised the animosity level between the parties. It was likely the agent who floated the number of $9,000,000 per year that the Spurs were willing to pay to try to set the market where he promised his client. It may have had the effect of discouraging more reasonable offers from teams while money was still available. Now we get the spin from Simmons and agent to try to save face.
This quote is pure ignorance:
Simmons doesn't get to that shot without Forbes slowing Selden down. A hidden aspect to Danny Green's transition D was Parker doing the same thing on breaks. He'd slow the guy down and force him to take a soft layup on the wrong side of the rim, which allowed Green to swat it away. Tony declining and the other PGs not understanding what their role is in transition defense has reduced the block opportunities greatly. As Selden dribbled up the court, he was able to wiggle around enough to render Bryn Forbes, the only defender between him and the rim, useless. Selden gathered the ball, then raised up for what he thought was going to be an uncontested, unimportant, uninteresting layup. Selden hadn’t seen Simmons trailing the play behind him, though.
Very good point. If Forbes can be a decent team defender, and the rest of his SL game translates (reasonably well) to the big time, he could get meaningful minutes in the RS and even some rotation minutes in the playoffs.
I don't know if he will live up to being considered a bargain deal, but he has been considered that:
I don't disagree that he was worth that contract and the risk for Orlando. They are grasping at straws and Simmons will bring some excitement to their fans. He could be good for them. Wish him the best. If he does play well... watch the meltdowns here.

Brandon Paul better hit at least a hundred threes next year, tbh.
The dunks and block shots were awesome, but Spurs will mostly miss his intensity and defense. TBH 2nd to Kawhi as far as playing both sides of the court![]()

PATFO are fvcking stupid these days
Tappin dat white ass. Good for him
Imagine how many kids will have now that he has money
5 was like a starter pack for him
Who are we going to find now to chew gum and act like they're just glad to be in the pros? Who are we going to find who is hyper athletic with mediocre ball handling skills and basic D-League shooting ability? Who are we going to find to put up pedestrian numbers in anomaly games and be overrated again on spurstalk, simply because they're athletic and can dunk the ball? Now we're screwed.
He's not there yet. We can only wish...
Brandon Paul?
DjM?
Lamarcus Aldridge?
Don't know about Paul
Murray is a good kid, good upside, probably be an NBA star.
LMA has a sense of en lement, seems to believe he's a niche player, plays below his ability but still people undervalue his contributions, money notwithstandings.
I'm pretty sure that's a man second from the right.
