How long is this gonna take tbh

    I'm thinking tomorrow morning.

Maybe a tad hopeful but at this point I'm good either way. On one hand the experience, leadership, and mentorship would be valuable. On the other hand, his further digression soaking up 20 minutes every night with less and less production is scary. I have no problem with him getting a good check cause we can afford it and it really doesn't affect anything, and Pau getting a 1 year deal too, and that will be that. But if he doesn't sign we'll have an open spot. That might make things a little interesting. But we'll see.

ole ole ole ole Manu Manu

The fact that we haven't heard makes me think he's coming back, just giving the Spurs time to complete their off season moves.

Do you remember Manu's end of the season interview where he said he could come back and play just 5 minutes and be fine.. in a joking fashion.. Sometimes those kinds of sarcastic jokes reflect some truth.

It might be more helpful (for purposes of the Spurs making moves) for Manu to ing tell them what he's going to do.

That said, please come back Manu.

I don't remember that; but I think Manu still enjoys playing and is humble enough to accept a diminished role because he's always been a team-first guy. Anybody that doesn't want Manu back is a troll who still doesn't get the essence of the Spurs after all this.

    What sources?

btw, I didn't notice that your avatar was from 'Turn.' I kept looking at it and thinking that it looks familiar, but couldn't place where those characters were from. I watched the first season of that a few years ago, but I never got around to watching the following seasons. Great show. I watched the first season during the 2014 Championship run.

The league is so bereft of talent I can't see them doing better than Ginobili at this point.

There is talent but not the kind of talent that supports a 3 point chuck it league. I wish the league would allow the type of defense that the Pistons use to play to emerge, again. Physical size and talent has been pushed aside in this era of the game.

He has another season in him, that block on James Harden in the playoffs proved it. Pop will have to keep his minutes managed well. Still a prime 2005 Ginobili vs Warriors in the WCF would have managed a win or two out of that series instead of a sweep with that team the Spurs had after the Parker, Leonard injurys,. So yes he has naturally slowed a bit but is still a very effective, smart basketball player.

If it's one year who cares how much we pay him we're not signing anyone else...

Idk how much we can pay him for this year but he probably deserves as much as we can give him and then some.

I could never out my sources on the board. Maybe, if you PM'd.

Yea, Turn is a great show. First season was good; second was even better. There's limited historical matter and so as it goes, they're more making stuff up, whereas in the beginning it was more precise in its factual structure. This season the fourth is the final season; probably due to the show not being profitable enough just as much as anything. Not enough people into history, sadly.

I should have said that I wasn't outright asking for who your sources were, just wondering if you think they are legit. If so, then that is good enough for me.

Yeah, I'll start watching Turn again, kind of sucks if they go away from the factual structure that they started the show with, but I guess that won't put me off watching it. I also read the 4th season is the final season so that is kind of a downer. I don't know much about US history, so that is a reason why I like watching these kind of shows (even if they aren't accurate).

You know what annoys me? If he comes back and then does this again next summer. If he does come back, he needs to confirm that this Will be it. Enough with the cute games already!

Imagine what a prime 1978 Gervin would have done. Sign him!

    LOL, Manu fans
