Btw, I am still upset at the end of Friday Night Lights. That game was the semi final, not the final. Carter did beat OP, but had 1 more game against my Judson Rockets......just wish Peter Berg would have been more factual with the ending. It would not have taken anything away from the OP story.

I had two good friends on that Rocket team. Dewey Gray and Joe Senna. Joe told me when it was announced that charter was DQ they took a team vote and turned down the championship

I know they did....that is why if you see it on the stadium, it is accompanied by an asterisk. I cannot remember, but I think Mike Jinks was the QB of that team.
