But that other 50%, though...
I just wish it didn't mess with my sleep. Lawyer here, too.
Weed can destroy your life. It's the ultimate gateway.
There's a 50% chance that if you smoke a joint on day 1, you will be on your knees in an alley giving head for some lady h by day 30.
Luckily I escaped that fate, but not my mom. Hope she kicks her habit soon.

Truthbomb, tbh. It's that slaver mentality talking. It's probably hard to keep the white liberal persona at all times tbh
Both gay
My read on this is that Pop just wanted SJax to lay off the weed a little in hopes that he would make fewer mistakes on the court.
SJax had so much talent, but imagine how much better he would have been if he'd nailed down the mental component of the game?
imagine a black player just asked to go to the spur
oh wait that did happen
Comparing wine to weed is stupid AF. You don't drink wine to get drunk, necessarily. You can do it just a glass or two with dinner because it tastes good. No one smokes weed because it tastes good. , no one eats a pot brownie because it tastes good. You do it to get high.

Not to mention that if a player gets caught in a random drug test, he will get suspended and hurt the team in the middle of the season. That being said, I was around the ABA/NBA Spurs during the beginning of the cocaine years when it was 'cool' and no one thought there was a price to pay on court and off. There is no doubt that a lot of athletes lost something to their game and careers to drugs.
I would also
Was he old and at the end of his career when this was said? If so who cares...let it be.
Josh Gordon is still the gold standard athlete who threw away at least 2 multi-million dollar NFL contracts because of weed. Think Justin Blackmon did it too, but could be wrong on him.
Ricky Williams was sick of running 400 carries a years with no QB threat against 8-9 in the box with Miami. His body legitimately needed a year or 2 off, imo
