3 years? So Spurs want a washed up Pau until he is 40? If they had just paid him 16M this season they wouldn't have to worry about his contract next season.
I'm glad, in our position getting Gay, Lauvergne, rookie for dedmon, lee, simmons is a damn good coup. Gasol and Aldridge will be better now that they have more experience in the system.

PATFO need to offer up their left nuts along with any players not named "Kawhi" or "Gay" that the Cavs want for Irving. He's the only thing that can save this abortion of a roster at this point. Take Love of their hands, too, if we can.
I always picked Pau for my fantasy team in the early yeas of his career and I won against some NBA-connected ppl I know. Underrated back then and still solid. I like him.

if Simmons was better tnan those two I would complain. And if Simmons really wanted to be here he would sign with the Spurs but it was obvious he wanted out. Good luck playing on a 20 win team. He'll probably end up in China in 2 years.
Simmons was exciting but did not deliver during the regular season. One good series when the steaks were off the table does not make him a must-have. Plus he evidently was going to be a problem child, culture-wise, not worth it.
Only casual spurs fans think this guy would have made a substantial difference in our actual championship chances, which is all that matters. bottom line, he did not improve, he can't shoot, and his efficiency was terrible.
all he brings is a moderately good defensive player who can create/slash.

who were the spurs supposed to bring in? They got gay on the super-cheap. only upside. We got plenty of filler players.
What are the details of the contract? Hoping under 10 million per year. But seeing how Gasol gave up 16 million this year, I have a feeling it's going to be a 3yr/30-36 million deal
I can't wait for the season to start so that Simmons can be his usual sucky self and on all the dumbasses that are crying about not resigning him, tbh.
