No but maybe Murray...and what if Kawhi just wants to be the undisputed #1? He doesn't seem that way, but I rather not see him walking once his contract is up, just because we forced Kyrie uppon him like Lebron forced himself uppon Kyrie.
Yep. Not sure how the Spurs could get it done. I'd assume that it's gotta be a minimum of a 3 team deal, maybe even 4 team deal, or maybe Irving pressuring all other teams that he doesn't want to play for them.

Whole thing just sounds like leverage.
Leverage for what?
So does Kyrie actually have a NTC?
No. Thats the funny part.
It's well do ented that PATFO consult such decisions with their core players/pilars (Tim, Kawhi, Manu & Tony).

Hilarious stuff. I may be in the dark on this opinion but I love shea's work.
According to Woj, D. Rose is in Cleveland discussing a deal. If that settles, do you think it's more likely Irving gets traded? Cleveland would have a serviceable PG to start alongside James, and maybe a package of Aldridge and Green would appeal them to move Irving.
Rose, Green, LeBron, Love, Aldridge is something to consider if I'm Cleveland/LeBron.
What the Spurs have going for them that no one else does is that Green/Murray are LBJ's homies.
I think Cleveland wants to win right now since LeBron has 2-3 solid years left in him. Aldridge could very well be in play if Cleveland thinks LeBron might actually stay. I think the Knicks have a better shot trading Melo for Irving though. Its hard to wrap your head around. I think LeBron is bolting. It makes sense for Cleveland to try to get some young talent and picks in return.
I don't think Melo actually wants to go there though, he knows he probably won't stay and Melo rather go to Houston. Plus he has to approve any trade. He didn't want to get traded to Cavs even when Irving was going to be there. A few weeks ago I think he said either Cavs or Houston but has since changed to only wanting Houston iirc.
Yes, lol, don't you find it odd timvp became less active then she showed up?
I think we are destined to get Kyrie. How cosmic would it be for LMA to join HWNSNBM on the Cavs?
lol, that would be brilliant.
She claims she has me on ignore, because I'm an ass hole lol
I find it hilarious that there are some posters who don't want Irving. Hilarious just ing lol hilarious
But they wanted to keep "two week wonder" Simmons.![]()
Yeah it's pretty wild tbh. ST es and moans about PATFO off-season and how the league is passing them by and how NOBODY wants to play for the Spurs etc
Then a Top 5 talent in position of need requested a trade to the Spurs...yet people still cry and nit pick to death...
SpursTalk isn't really a place of basketball discussion..more like a huge fest with posters who have "EGO's" and ZERO friends in real life
We all know our Spurs and our FO and we all know there is zero to a very slim chance of this happening.
That said, the media is desperate for this not to happen.
They are treating the issue totally disregarding San Antonio´s chances, but more so, like trying to influence the outcome for Irving not to come here.
Probably. San Antonio was his top choice. So the GMs will get it worked out for him.
