What's your point?
What's your point?
A home intruder with a spectrum analyzer and big magnets can murder you with your own smart gun.
They're unreliable for a variety of reasons and aren't as "smart" as some make them out to be. The manufacturers will of course work to fix these existing problems but it's still a terrible idea IMO. I'd never choose to rely on electronics if I needed to defend myself and I hope they are never forced upon the population.
But then all your spectrum analyzers and wave generators will go up in value.
His point is "something something, game over, BOOM! etc etc et cetera yada yada yada etc...BOOM!" most likely (paraphrasing of course)
i think his point is that liberals want to take your guns
Well I already knew that... in commies.
Me too but that's no reason to oppose the technology. Like you said these problems can be fixed. If I had kids in the house I'd rather have a smart gun. And if my kid was smart enough to hack it he'd probably be smart enough not to blow his head off with it.
Now if I was a gun manufacturer, I wouldn't want the liability of selling a "safe" gun.
