The reference there was to a story that was already being pushed. I read it as:
"The Awan story we are talking about shows it will rain."
Notice it doesn't say "they are preparing to arrest one of the awan brothers, within 24 hours."
Religious people do this all the time with prophesies.

How do you know this phrase was a prediction of the future, as opposed to say,referring, in a self-congratulatory way, to the story you already know about?
