Fact checking is when you go out and independently attempt to verify things.
One example would be, say finding out if Roth really was given a post in the administration, after being a Trump business partner, and given a post he was really unqualified for.

The inherent conflicts of interest are very, very easy to fact check. The corruption is so easy to find, you would have to be actively ignoring it not to be able to fact check anything within minutes.
