John McCain is a career parasite. He is not a hero. He was shot down in Vietnam because he violated orders and was hotdogging at low al ude over Hanoi and the North Vietnamese shot him down.

I know he voted no - I was just pointing out an error that boutons has since corrected. You are mistaken if you think that I would take someone's life - even that of that not thinking about the people in his state with over 100% premium increases Senator. I know what this law does to small businesses in particular so while some of you liberals are celebrating, think about the people who have no choice but to buy this overpriced, expensive health insurance (that's if it's offered in their county) and if these premium rises continue at this rate, those who will not be able to afford it and drop. I know it's easy to forget about them when you have good employer-sponsored insurance or free government insurance as I do but I do not forget when dh worked for mainly small businesses and the struggle they have with insurance. And remember small businesses are the life blood of the country - that's the way so many before us achieved the American dream and provided jobs.

It still beats the ty skinny repeal which would have kicked off about 16 million people off healthcare and would increase premiums by 20% every year.
If healthy young people leave, the older, sicker people would have to front the full amount of money. For a party that counts on old people to vote for them in every election, they sure would have ed them over with this plan.
The people would have suffered the most was their own base.

Medicare for all totally unloads that burden from ALL businesses.
All the companies do is forward a slice of paycheck for Medicare health insurance to the Feds, just like they do know for withholding income tax, SS, workers comp, Medicare.
