You act like all dem's who voted for Hillary were rampant supporters of her. She was flawed big time and most people I know just voted for her to keep Trump out. I wasn't fired up running to the polls.
I only voted for her because of Ryan and McConnell.

"when dh worked for mainly small businesses and the struggle they have with insurance."

Medicare for all totally unloads that burden from ALL businesses.

All the companies do is forward a slice of paycheck for Medicare health insurance to the Feds, just like they do know for withholding income tax, SS, workers comp, Medicare.

BigInsurance and their capitalist shareholders have totally ed up America, one of many ways the oligarchy s up America for profit.

What % of our paycheck do you think it would take to cover the ongoing health care of every single person (I'm assuming you want to cover illegals too) in America when we contribute our entire working life (before age 65) to Medicare and SS, only use them after age 65 and the programs are still unsustainable? A very high % that Americans would be unwilling to pay, I'd guess - as evidenced by Vermont and Colorado.

Your little equation isn't quite fit until you take into account your employer's total cost to employ you. Let's just say you make $100k per year. It's going to cost your employer $125k to $140k to employ you. Now take out what you, the employee, pays toward healthcare. What you're asking is, how much additional would the employee be willing to pay for single payer healthcare.

Saving 16 million people from losing insurance is putting her country 1st. Not sure how it isn't.

Yes it was. The house was going to pass it once the conference committee went nowhere.

He can refuse just like Obama refused to sign a ocare repeal. No Russian collusion with #45, unlike certain Senate members and 2 time presidential nominees

It passed both houses with veto proof majorities unlike the first 60 Obamacare repeals.

    Not a draft dodger tho...

Had that stood, Trump would have been drafted.

But Trump had a physical exam in September 1968. He had taken one less than two years earlier that did not disqualify him for service as we can tell from his 1-A classification in July 1968. However, his second physical was followed in October with a new classification, 1-Y. That designation put him near the bottom of any call-up list. It meant he would only be drafted if there were a national emergency.

Until recently, the only detail on record about that shift was it was medically related. After his comments about McCain, Trump said it had to do with bone spurs in his heels. Trump reportedly was active in college sports, playing baseball, tennis and squash.

Clearly he doesn't. People who don't understand the basic rules of government should be banned from participating in the political forum. TBH.

Are you saying that it costs $25-40k just to insure me? I and all the government employees around me pay nothing for our health insurance. We are also offered a better plan with more bells and whistles that we have to contribute for but unless one expects to use a lot of healthcare, usually they pass on the Cadillac version. And remember all workers are not just paying for themselves but for all the unemployed, illegals, children, etc. And the low-income workers are going to pay the same % taxed on the very first dollar as SS & Medicare are? Sounds like the poor will rebel because now they pay nothing and get Medicaid if they're in an expansion state - right? Single payer replaces ACA?

I gotta say I love the fact that you're a government employee. You whine incessantly about the teat that feeds you Federal or state?

So just make everyone in the country pay nothing for health insurance. That way it won't cost anything.

    Problem solved.
