The study was presented in categories and overall. So people can judge detailly.
And how did they rank the sports?

    By category or by score?

Where have I claimed the opposite?

Baseball won overall by 0.75% but lost most categories. Nothing false about this statement.

    But lost most categories.
That's not how the study ranked the sports, so it's an irrelevant fact.

    "Baseball won overall."

    End of debate.

Baseball lost more categories though which means you have to be better at more things in soccer than baseball. That's why the study is presented that way.

If that's true, why didn't the study rank soccer higher?

Learn how weighted scoring works. The demands baseball places on hand-eye coordination rank about 20% higher than the demands of soccer's toughest category, thus baseball is the overall harder sport, as the study shows.

So desperate for a little win. Cute.

First, that is true. Soccer won more categories, baseball won overall by 0.75.

If soccer wins in 5 categories and baseball 4, it means you have to be better in 1 more thing in soccer than baseball. Do you disagree with the math? 5-4=1?

    That's all that matters.

If the study ranked by which sport won the most categories, you'd have a leg to stand on. But it doesn't. It uses a weighted system, and the final results you have to honor. That's it.

To you but not to others. FACT is FACT.

That's why people are saying baseball requires specialized talent, but it can be played daily unlike other sports and it doesn't take a toll on your body.

Baseball lost in more categories meaning you have to be good at more things in soccer, that's all.

You still don't understand what a weighted scoring system is, do you?

Waterpolo won 6 categories to Soccer's 4. Doesn't matter. The top skills you have to develop in soccer are harder than they are in Waterpolo, as proven by the overall score tallies.

Baseball wins overall in similar fashion. End of story.

    I do understand very well.

Did soccer beat baseball in more categories? Yes or NO. That's all.

5-4=1, it means you have to be better in more categories in soccer than baseball. That's fact and it matters, that's why the table is detailed and broken down.

Sure it should matters. It means you have to overcome and be better at more things.

Baseball lost more categories to soccer. Unfortunately, you can't disagree with that.

I don't care about categories. The study doesn't rank it that way. They're irrelevant. Waterpolo won more categories, but has no categories which demand over an 8 rating. Soccer does. Meaning that particular skill in soccer is harder to master/develop than ANYTHING in waterpolo, so soccer is the harder sport despite losing more categories.

On the flip side, baseball has a category that demands a 9 rating, which soccer doesn't, so the difficulty of that one skill is worth more in the overall scoring metric.

Only overall matters. Soccer beats water polo overall. Baseball beats soccer overall.

    That's it.

The designers of the study didn't agree, or they would have given soccer "extra" points for "winning more categories." Did they or did they not?

You're being subjective and cherry picking. Waterpolo "won" more categories, but I accept soccer as the harder sport. Do you agree with that logic or no?

Well I do care about the details. Soccer wins in more categories than baseball. I need to look at it globally and not just focus on one specialized area.

Then you would look at the overall score. That's how "global" scoring works.

Quit spinning. I know you're trying to salvage a "win" and your "pride," but the designers of the study and the results of the study disagree with your analysis.

Yes or no? Per the scoring system of the study, is water polo easier than soccer?

The table doesn't need to do that if it's detailed and broken down by categories.

Waterpolo can be harder than baseball and soccer who knows, you might have to overcome more obstacles. It's a global view.

More doesn't equal more difficult. One obstacle can be more difficult than twenty, which is what the study is examining. The agility "obstacle" in soccer is greater than any "obstacle" in waterpolo, thus soccer's higher ranking. Think of like this. Side A there's an obstacle course with ten 5 inch barriers. Side B has one barrier that's 10 feet high.

Which course would be tougher to complete? Soccer's has the tougher barriers while waterpolo has more "easier" ones, thus soccer is harder.

Again it depends on each individual. Someone which a good cardio might be good at one thing and not the other.

I'm looking at it in detail and that's what I see.

The designers of the study judged for you with their overall scoring system. I told you if you're going to champion boxing as the hardest sport per this test, you need to be consistent and accept ALL the results of the study, even the ones you don't like.

You quibbling just shows your bias toward baseball. Intellectually dishonest.

Only thing you've ever said that I agree with.

So difficulty is relative to the person?

If you say yes, then we can end this silly ass debate and move on. We both agree it's all subjective and debate is pretty much meaningless.

Overall scoring system and in detailed categories.

Not lying, that's why he has an individual measurement of each category. You can't deny that.

ABSOLUTELY! Not only that you need God given talent as well.

There are things, even if you practice practice pratice, you can't beat other person at it because he has longer legs so he runs faster than you, or he has freak arms so he can jab you from a distance.

    It's a mixture of both.
