WNBA players should be offended. Why do the men get their own game for years and now WNBA players are just added to it? They should want their own game. That's not equality if you ask me.

I can't remember the last NBA game I played that actually had a solid game play, they all have been trash for a while.
True, tbh. 2K is garbage now, it's glitchy as with the same glitches every year, but since it has no real compe ion, they have no reason to spend money to improve it, or do anything besides being a yearly roster update. There's a reason why 2K and Madden make such a big deal about revealing cover athletes, it's because the games suck ass now.
Play MLB The Show?

the only decent sports games are The Show and FIFA, which is something that can unite the fatball vs povertyball rivalry.
Last one I played was 2k5. And I was already losing interest then. My favorite basketball game of all time was 2k1 on the Dreamcast. 2k was the absolute game changer for basketball games, but 2k1 was the better version of that game and the peak for me as a kid growing up in the 80s 90s.
The early 2k games were great tbh. 2k within the past couple of years peaked with 2k11. Since then, it hasn't gotten much better. 2k10 was godawful though.
Once I get a decent rig, I'll start playing football manager again.

FIFA, I know you don't like soccer , but that's the most fun to play especially amongst friends, if people on ST have those tbh. Also hockey games are pretty fun as well.

I used to buy it yearly (back in the mid-90s), then moved into the Worldwide Soccer series on Saturn, which blew away FIFA at the time. EA's NHL series was also great.I think nba live 08 was the best one I've played iirc, only sports game I with FIFA tbh..

I actually don't dislike soccer. If you're truly objective about it, all the big sports are well designed and have something to offer. Soccer players I do dislike. Diving is still rampant. I also do not like shootouts. Cheap way to end a match.
lol... NBA Live 2005 was the last good NBA Live. Every one after that was gimmicky and glitchy and just not realistic at all.
2k was good in the late 2000s. After that it wasn't worth buying again. Madden is still quite good but it gets too easy to beat the CPU even on HoF mode
The last Live game I actually had fun playing was 06 on the GameCube. The dunk contest was fun as and so much easier than what became of 2ks dc after 10.
Used to be I bought 2k every year starting in 05, with 11 probably being the best. And then it seemed they would redo the controls every year for no reason at all. And then I rented 15, it wasn't good at all and kept 14 til I traded GTA V for a copy of 17. Better than 15 n 16 tho.
I want a new Fight Night sooooo bad. And a fun, arcady tennis game ala Virtua Tennis.
Never got too much into baseball games but enjoyed the Bigs back in the day.
I sort of agree with the penalties at the end , but there's a possibility of the game never ending or a draw I guess. Basketball players flop left and right , it is what it is.
