This may come across as a knock against Charlie Strong, but it is so refreshing to listen to a Texas coach sound fluid, comfortable, and confident when engaging with the media. Herman just sounds like no stage is too big for him. That translates to the players.

EJ doesn't know jack! It wouldn't surprise me one bit, if Texas is still recruiting the kid somewhat. He's only the top QB out there, IMO. I think this stems from a poster over on 24/7 who says he went to school with him and that there might be communication still going on with Texas.

No, you're absolutely right about that first part. I like Charlie personally, but his interviews were painful to watch. He would almost always look towards the floor, forget players' names, make ridiculous analogies and so on. Ultimately you should be judged based on your performance and character and not interviews, but Charlie's performance wasn't good either. We needed a change.

Charlie was horrible on the sideline as well.

But... He did apply a change to the Mack given rights which was needed. We had Colt McCoy's little brother because...
We should never ever go back to a sense of en lement. Charlie started the change. He was just a bad coach.

The thing i worry about most is Herman's limits on what it takes to win. The Reese Leitao thing... I can't get over that. If Herman ever gets us in trouble with the NCAA or plays fancy with rules like Saban, I quit.

And I'm taking people down with me.

OT Rafiti Ghirmai is set to announce his commitment 8/21. Texas and UCLA appears to be the top 2 at the moment.
