I agree that's why I said Kobe undoubtedly had the best career of the three.

I can't though, understand how laker fans can consistently underrate the gasol, odom,Bynum front line. That is a monster frontline that can pass, facilitate, score and defend. It was extremely versatile and while it certainly isn't as good as the bird,Celtics, mchale frontline or other monster frontlines in NBA history, it is the type of frontline that is ridiculously difficult to handle. It is difficult for the opposition to score over three long inside players and difficult to defend on the other end eight these players seeing over the defense and whipping passes above their heads.

Wade had bosh. He wasn't as good as gasol during those b2b years. He didn't even have any other frontline player other than bosh that's on the same caliber as Bynum, let alone odom. Sure he's got lebron though.

Garnett was way past his prime with the Celtics, still all star caliber for sure, but he's about gasol level. Allen is the other extremely overrated player in the 00s. Besides, we are talking about frontlines. Finally, the Celtics got unlucky breaks with injuries and a mysterious 20 fta disparity against them in game 7. They played even throughout the series but then suddenly, they just mysteriously start fouling on every single playe. Weird.
The years they won Bynum produced 6 pts and 4 rebounds in the 2009 playoffs and 8 and 7 in 2010. He wasn't a game changer in the playoffs.

Bosh is an 11 time all-star, almost doubling Gasol's all star appearances. Overlooking that though, they are pretty damn close in terms of their career production. To be fair that's a wash. They will both be Hall of Famers.

Odom was a good role player but never an all-star. Getting past Wade/Bosh and Kobe/Gasol, talent-wise Lebron completely destroyed anything else the Lakers had, but the ring total was the same.

I am not sure why are so transfixed on career and all star production. We are talking about particular years. It's like the 13 lakers with four hall of famers. None of them are at their primes. Then you talk about particular years for Bynum. Dude, pick a lane.

Gasol at lakers clearly > bosh at Miami. It's. It even close. Gasol was a 1a/1b those years and bosh was a clear 3.
Gasol actually led the lakers in most relevant advanced stats in those championship years while bosh wasn't even close at leading any of them in Miami.

Bosh sacrificed a lot during his time at Miami and was no where close to what he was at toronto.

Speaking of all star games, the east sucked while the west was ultra compe ive. You should know, but you just knowingly decide to ignore that.

Finally, all star games are popularity contests. We all know it. The fact that people cast votes to Kobe and ignored odom is another sign of how overrated Kobe is. Odom was a rare long sf who can handle the ball, pass, defend and score. He is like detlef schrempft and a derrick Mckey on steroids. These are the type of players that allows a team to build that versatility to beat different types of opponents.

The fact that Tim Duncan had it easy by playing with multiple All-Stars and Hall of Fame players his entire is no excuse for you to try and discredit a players status as an All-Star....Being an all-star is a testament to your own personal work ethic as a player whereas getting an MVP is simply the medias opinion of you. Gasol despite winning in LA was always a pussy and that's why Kobe had to work so hard to keep him motivated....If you think Gasol is a good as you like to claim...perhaps we should start to look into if he was actually a better player / athelete than Tim Duncan.....so let's compare the pussy to a got....after all Pau only won when he played with Kobe but Tim has always played with All-Stars and HOF'ers so again is Tim really better than Pau since Tim had the privledge since he came into the league and when he retired of having All-Stars and HOF'ers by his side. SI is a site ran by white people who hates Kobe for "raping" a white . This white had Kobe's semen, along with 2 other dudes in her panties when she was examined by physicians.

So yeah, I'll take the words of actual NBA players over SI - or jealous San Antonio farmers like you

Bosh and Gasol were both former leaders of their own respective teams. Gasol had never won a single play-off game until Kobe took him in. Gasol was soft until he met Kobe.....once he left Kobe he regressed back to white swan status.
You act like the years Gasol didn't win any playoff games Kobe was doing grand or something. Kobe missed the playoffs, with a supporting cast that is at least comparable to Gasol

This entire Gasol was soft thing is absolute comedy. He went up against some of the toughest frontlines in the history of the league during years where the compe ion was Duncan, Garnett, Dirk, Webber, Sheed and such.

During the same time, Kobe quit vs. the notoriously soft Phoenix Suns. Rea

Gasol and Bosh are both optional and side kick players. They never won as clear Alphas and Leaders of their teams.
Neither did Kobe? When did he win as the clear alpha? Statistically speaking, Gasol had better numbers than Kobe did during those b2b years. You want to talk about clear alpha rings? Duncan has 4.

Excuse me? Kobe's team had pretty much always been stronger than Duncan's. 03 closed the case on that.

And MVPau made the all-star team during those championship years. You were talking about b2b, weren't you? Where do you want to move the goalpost this time?

Gasol despite winning in LA was always a pussy and that's why Kobe had to work so hard to keep him motivated....If you think Gasol is a good as you like to claim...perhaps we should start to look into if he was actually a better player / athelete than Tim Duncan.....so let's compare the pussy to a got....after all Pau only won when he played with Kobe but Tim has always played with All-Stars and HOF'ers so again is Tim really better than Pau since Tim had the privledge since he came into the league and when he retired of having All-Stars and HOF'ers by his side. Duncan is the only player who ever won with totally different players. You want to count the number of players who won a ring with Duncan vs. Kobe? Go ahead, I will let you start.

and lastely here is your man Pau....my Kobe a savage

You don't want to talk about international compe ion with regards to MVPau in this debate, he was one of the best ever.

    1) The years Gasol wasn't winning a single gotdam game....Kobe was leading the league in scoring and making the play-offs with a rag tag team with players such as Chris Mihm, Chucky Atkins. Kwame Brown and ing Smush Parker....when Tammy s can boast such ty teammates then your got ass can come holla at me.

    2.)
    "Duncan, Garnett, Dirk, Webber, Sheed"
please....let me bust your asshole open again....players were brought into this league for the SOLE purpose of the Kobe assignment....ONLY to defend Kobe....Bruce Bowen is a prime example....after Kobe torched all the other Spurs guards such as Avery Johnson, Terry Porter, Derek Anderson, Sean Eliot etc....Pop had to find some ing answer for my .... Hakeem Olajuwon said it best..."the 2 guard position is the toughest and most demanding position in all of basketball" because not only are you having to score against and defend the most athletic position on the court but you also have other positions such as the PG, SF, and even PF trying to defend the SG position...So Kobe's job was spectacularly difficult compared to Gasol and Duncan combined....all them slow footed s had to do was park their lazy asses in the paint and beg for the ball....LOL and in terms of players defending Kobe.....don't even get me started with names.....you came up with a few I can literally come up with Dozens.....Rueben Patterson, Bruce Boewn, Doug Christie, T-Mac, Iverson, Marbury, Nash, Pippen, MJ, Rodman, Reggie Miller, Wade, Lebron, Matt Barnes, Durant, Westbrook, Curry, Billups, RIP Hamilton, Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, Ron Artest, Tabo Shefalosa, Mike Bibby, Jason Kidd, I could go on and on....point is don't ever foolishly try to compare Pau and Tammy's night in and night out compe ion to Kobe's....you will lose that argument every time.

3.) During the back to years Kobe was Alpha and Omega...Gasol was white swan getting mind ed by KG and Sheed. If not for Kobe's leadership and savagery Gasol would have been just another typical white boy eaten up by hard pipe hitting s. ;-)

4.) If Duncan was an Alpha the Spurs should have repeated at least once....this was so weak he couldn't even do that....he played under the same system and coach his entire career and the first time he wasn't in THE system (during the Olympics) that flat out quit on his ing country and refused to ever play again....that's the kind of role players do....they don't know how to man up and put on their big boy pants. So if you want to throw the Kobe quit on his team during the Suns series I can one up your got ass as usual....Duncan flat out quit on his country and I can quote his own words.....LOL He's a quitter not an Alpha.....how you like dem apples? Just re-watched Game 7 of the 2010 Finals on NBATV earlier today. Kobe almost single-handedly tanked his team with his 6/24 shooting in his last meaningful performance. He didn't deserve that last ring, but the refs and Artest bailed him out in the 4th quarter.

Yet the NBA still was slurping him all the way to the end, even when he was ruining the Lakers so that he could stroke his ego going out.

    1) Kobe missed the playoffs and got kicked out the first round twice. Gasol got kicked out all the same. And for The hundredth time, Kobe had butler and odom.

    2) wing defenders were at a premium because the league changed the rules. Kobe, ,tmac, ai, Pierce, Allen, carter and a whole bunch of players benefitted immensely from it. To say players were brought in to guard Kobe specifically is down right revisionist. People did that to shaq. Not Kobe.

    3) and yet gasol led the lakers in most advanced stats. Go figure.

    4) what about alpha and repeats again? Gasol repeated so he's the alpha? What are you even trying to say? You have to click the submit button to spew your diarrhea, take advantage of that and actually think through your points, if you had one to begin with.

Why do you keep bringing in the Olympics when we are talking about the NBA? And why do you keep pulling team accomplishments when talking about individuals? Oh right, there's nothing else.
