GOP Strategist Explains Why Pence Is Destined to Betray Trump
"His denial is a confession of guilt."
Republican strategist Rick Wilson on Monday said Pence’s denial rings very hollow — and
he predicted that there would be growing support for ousting Trump among Republicans should Trump continue to flounder as president.
“His denial is a full confession of guilt,” Wilson wrote on Twitter Monday.
“The ‘Pence is running’ whispers follow months of ‘Pence is a circuit breaker for Trump’s cray’ whispers.
Pence is a *major* safety blanket for GOP Members, particularly in the Senate.
Wilson then argued that Democrats should embrace efforts to replace Trump with Pence, despite the fact that they loathe Pence’s politics. The reason, he said, is that
ousting Trump will result in a conservative “civil war” that will badly damage Pence and any campaign he runs for president in 2020.
“If Trump collapses Pence is at solid risk for splash damage in the conservative civil war to come,” he writes.

GOP pollster finds Trump support diving into ‘dangerously low territory’ as his base shrivels
a Republican-aligned pollster says Trump’s approval is “dangerously low” heading into next year’s midterms.
Axios reports that new polling from GOP public-affairs firm Firehouse Strategies shows that Trump’s
support has dropped across the board, including among the Republican voters who make up his base.
“Our data shows Trump losing support inside the Republican Party and
a noticeable drop in his perceived honesty,” ( just "perceived"?)
“Just 6 months in office, Trump is getting into dangerously low territory in key swing states. Trump’s base of support has shrunk from 35.3 percent of voters who have a ‘strongly favorable’ view of him in April to only 28.6 percent.”
Firehouse’s data reveals that
28 percent of Republican voters now have a strongly unfavorable view of Trump,
up from 21 percent earlier this year.

"the begging"
The entire world is laughing about Donald Trump's 'small stick'
"He's the opposite of Teddy Roosevelt," that official quipped to Guajardo about Trump.
"He speaks loudly and carries a small stick."
Seven months into the Trump administration, the world's diplomatic community has gone from throwing its hands in the air to now leaning back in their chairs and laughing, albeit morosely, at Trump's cringe-worthy display of diplomacy during the infancy of his presidency. […]
"Everyone I've spoken to around the world is laughing," Guajardo said.
Join the club, world's diplomatic community. We share your pain and morose laughing.
But, hey, at least it gave the Australians a good laugh and more jokes.

Australian TV panel tries to discuss leaked Trump transcripts, can’t stop laughing
Diplomats and reporters around the world are getting a kick out of the recently released Trump transcripts
a panel on an Australian news show devolved into laughter while talking about the conversation Turnbull and Trump had in February.
“So we would rather take a not very attractive guy that helps you out than to take a Nobel Peace Prize winner that comes by boat,” Turnbull said, according to the transcript. “That is the point.”
“What’s the thing with boats?” Trump asked. “Why do you discriminate against boats?”

“Isn’t it weird? What a weird thing to read. I read that and I was like, oh wow,
I’m not sure if I necessarily wanted to be privy to all of that,” she says.
“two dudes, two big business dudes, kind of swinging their s about a pretty awkward issue.”

"The conviction that Trump is dangerously unfit to hold office is indeed shared widely within his own administration.
Leaked accounts consistently depict the president as
unable to read briefing materials written at an adult level,
easily angered,
prone to manipulation through flattery,
subject to change his mind frequently to agree with whomever he spoke with last, and
consumed with the superficiality of cable television.
The bad news
Trump could regain public standing through the rally-round-the-flag effect that usually occurs following a domestic attack or at the outset of a war.
The ability of a president to gain popularity by launching (or suffering) an attack is not a law of nature. It reflects, in part, choices — by the opposition to withhold criticism and by the news media to accept the administration’s framing of the facts at face value.
A chaotic, still-understaffed administration led by a novice commander-in-chief who has alienated American allies deserves no benefit of the doubt. "

Please pay for wall. PLEEEEAASEEEE
Ummm no. A good bit already moved on.
Had that stood, Trump would have been drafted.
But Trump had a physical exam in September 1968. He had taken one less than two years earlier that did not disqualify him for service as we can tell from his 1-A classification in July 1968. However, his second physical was followed in October with a new classification, 1-Y. That designation put him near the bottom of any call-up list. It meant he would only be drafted if there were a national emergency.
Until recently, the only detail on record about that shift was it was medically related. After his comments about McCain, Trump said it had to do with bone spurs in his heels. Trump reportedly was active in college sports, playing baseball, tennis and squash.
‘Somebody needs to just rein him in’: Arizona Trump voters turning on president as his agenda collapses
In a CNN report on changing at udes towards President Donald Trump after just six months in office, Arizona conservatives are already giving up on the president for failing to fulfill his campaign promises.
, where some Trump voters stated that have no intention of voting for the president should he run for reelection in 2020.
“Whether it’s the tweets or just some of the things — like the thing he just said about the cops. Somebody needs to just rein him in,”
“Before I felt like he could do it all,(the stupidity, ignornance, naivete, gullibility of the Repug voters!
)
and now — if somebody could just control him a little bit.”
belief now that he is no different that any other Republican who is already in the pocket of big business.
