The Korean war never ended. It's a miracle that that Peninsula has not been a nuclear Wasteland since the early fifties. Of all the wars America has fought in post-world war II, this is probably the one we should all be least surprised about re igniting... should that occur.
Seoul is just too damn close to the border for a real war to break realistically. Last war there were a million dead and koreans lived in holes and huts back then.
N Korean artillery can easily reach Seoul from safe distances.
The only way I see uncle sam attacking is if they strike a deal with China beforehand.
