“Rather than putting pressure on the businesspeople of the Manufacturing Council & Strategy & Policy Forum, I am ending both,” Trump tweeted on Wednesday afternoon.
The list of Trump allies shrinks by the hour.
At least he can always count on David Duke, seen here at a press conference in Alaska or something.

Trump has only himself to blame on this Panel thingy. Christ, what did he think was going to happen? That these guys were going to come in there and work on bringing jobs back? No. He knew what they were going to do:::grandstand. But, the Pollyanna in him overruled his common sense and he let them in.
He won't wake up, because he doesn't want to see the reality of his/our situation. And frankly he doesn't have to. If this goes to in a hand basket he has somewhere to go back to, a bevy of family that will envelope him in their arms and hearts, an endless supply of boodle and a place on the knoll where he'll be able to take potshots with a mail order rifle till he goes into the dust that is always the end. This last benefit fortifies him the most---I guarantee you. Well, after endless boodle.
Where he has to find his solace here is that once more Media can't keep their mouths shut and heartens him by claiming that the Panels were super important. They've spent the last 7 months making fun of them and laughing their asses over them. Trump sees this and finds his ground there, the roil in his stomach loosens and he's able to function. At least that's how Little Trump lives with it. I'm Little Trump.
I was, I was a little down about the death of the Panels,,,and then sitting here on the CPU I overheard CNN on the TV in the other room state their great respect for those Panels and cite their value and the great loss that will now be felt by their loss. All the jobs that will be lost because their defunct.
And I felt immediately better and had my luncheon.

Trump ends plans for his Council on Infrastructure
President Donald Trump has ended plans for an Advisory Council on Infrastructure, according to a White House official, ending a panel that was created by an executive order the President signed in July.
The move comes a day after Trump disbanded two other councils -- the Manufacturing Council and the Strategy & Policy Forum -- after business leaders, CEOs and union leaders began fleeing the groups in response to the President blaming "both sides" for violence in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The councils were largely undermined by the departures but Trump tweeted that he was disbanding the panels rather than pressuring business leaders to stay.
Trump's infrastructure council was still being formed but the President decided to end the process, the official said. No reason was given.
