I think this is one of the worst seasons of GOT. LOL Nightking. Why not kill the dragon that is closer to you and it has people on it? The writting in this season is pretty bad.
It might be rushed, but it's still great. The Night King was awesome last night.

This season of Game of Thrones feels like fan fiction

I tend to agree but I'm still enjoying it. It's a very flawed but still fun season. Maybe if they'd done the full 10 episodes in each of the last two seasons it would improve some of the pacing and allow for more of the typical GoT pump-fakes.
Careful criticizing the show guys. The show leg jumpers will get on your case
Still no response to my links I see? If you are denying there is major plot holes in this last episode you are delusional.
Listen here, ur links are the best links out there. Nobody can compete with links like that. Links like that aren't even comprehensible for most people, u know it, I know it and America knows it.
My gawd, just checked out the GOT subreddit and that place is full of whiny gots like el slayer complaining about the stupidest . Wow, might be the biggest collection of gots on the Internet. But but how did the night walkers get chains?!?![]()
First of his name.![]()
I have stayed away from criticizing this season but the 2 or 3 straight up in-the-knick-of-time deus ex machinas last episode even had me laughing.
The chains complaint is dumb. But the guys being surrounded then saved by Danny all in 3 minutes was just bad
I'm with this show til the end cuz have so much time invested but you can def tell they pandering to the masses now
From the director of Beyond the Wall:
We were aware that timing was getting a little hazy. We’ve got Gendry running back, ravens flying a certain distance, dragons having to fly back a certain distance…In terms of the emotional experience, [Jon and company] sort of spent one dark night on the island in terms of storytelling moments. We tried to hedge it a little bit with the eternal twilight up there north of The Wall. I think there was some effort to fudge the timeline a little bit by not declaring exactly how long we were there. I think that worked for some people, for other people it didn’t. They seemed to be very concerned about how fast a raven can fly but there’s a thing called plausible impossibilities, which is what you try to achieve, rather than impossible plausibilities. So I think we were straining plausibility a little bit, but I hope the story’s momentum carries over some of that stuff.
lol, some bs is ok, too much bs is not
That's pretty much it, tbh
Yeah, some of the complaints are dumb (chains). But even the casual observer has to acknowledge the timeline issues we're having this season and the questionable logic with this capture-the-zombie plan. It would've played out better had Daenerys just decided to fly North to help out on her own, rather than waiting for Gendry and the raven.
All in all though, even when season 5 and 6 passed up the books, I was convinced that the producers were following some rough outline laid out by GRRM with some necessary changes made for television. Now I feel like they may be completely on their own and have no idea how the story is going to end. And other than it feeling really ing rushed, I can only place blame with GRRM. He supposedly has limited involvement with the show anymore so that he has more time to write the books... but he still has time to work with HBO on the spin-off(s).
I'm honestly not sure he'll have the last book finished b4 he kicks the bucket![]()
Brandon Sanderson could probably do a better job finishing than he could, like he did with Wheel of Time and Robert Jordan.
why is george so slow with finishing the book?
Daenerys should stop listening to Tyrion, because every ing plan he has had this season has been a disaster. This Wight Hunt plan was orchestrated by Tyrion, but lots of people are blaming Jon Snow for some reason. Jon just agreed to go along. If he is to blame, so are the other six he went with (and the red shirts).
so can daenerys get pregnant now since she lost a dragon???
Most likely. All that line of succession, and having kids talk last episode wasn't for nothing.
The fat takes forever with all of the books, it's pretty infuriating. I think e honestly made the story too complicated and is having trouble putting everything together.
As bad of job as the show writers have done without source material it isn't all on them. In fairness Martin basically said here is the end game, have fun trying to get there I've been working on getting there for the better part of a decade.
If fire kills the dead then how is the dead dragon going to breath fire without killing himself....plot hole.
