I just ran some simulations and crunched some numbers with help from SpursforSix. My findings are thus:
South Texas is ed. Hide yo kids, hide yo wives, hide yo husbands; Harvey is raping everyone out here.
Seriously though, there's some dry air wrapping around the core, but convection is healthy in the eyewall, and will probably mix that dry air before it tries to entrain the eye
, but I wonder if there's also a tad of subsidence between Harvey's eye and the convection to the NE of the storm. Those two factors might make the appearance "ragged" to some, but it's not impacting the inner cord of the storm as it's clearly a healthy system overall. Seems like dry air entrainment fears are similar to watching the dry slot or rain/snow line with big winter storms.
Looks like the north side of the eye is prepping to fire back up.

What time tomorrow will it hit SA?

Weather Underground is forecasting a little less than a foot through Monday.
yes sir
Anyone? I'm trying to see if making a drive from Austin to SA at 5-6 PM tomorrow is a death wish, tbh.
6-7am Saturday morning landfall. At high tide, but that's irrelevant for SA.
Link? I don't trust UNT grads, tbh.
I wish this would hit LA and wash that hole away since earthquakes just aren't cutting it whatsoever. ing manspreading fines on their subways? Yeah, needs to be washed away since you can't count on the friggin tectonic plates to swallow that cesspool whole and send it to the firey depths to burn like the Springfield tire fire.
Yeah just stay off Broadway![]()
Katrina wasn't good enough for ya?
TCOA knows his tropical weather meteorology![]()
I am a meteorologist and have been since age 11 and roughly a half. August 2005.
Bend over, I'll show you a little less than a foot.
Worst of it is supposed to start Sat morning. Tomorrow evening you should be fine outside scattered storms.
Don't know if sarcasm or DERP.
Hater needs to get on here and tell us which weather site is MSM so we can ignore their predictions.
It's UNT, you know which one it is.
Cosmocrackhead
These images are all faked since we can't get satellites into orbit.
