Still think too little too late this time. Looking at the clock, it would be very tough for GB to win without an onside kick. Unless Atl decides to pass pass pass incomplete, but that's unlikely.

KC beat NE in NE though.

OAK might be right at the top too.

DEN sure played like it as well against another team that should be somewhere in the mix.

    PIT ranked too high.

Also, you forgot Seattle. Still the best home team in the league

Seattle don't look like they have it, but I've been wrong about them before.

I am still skeptical of the Raiders. It seems like for as long as I've been a fan, they've made pedestrian QB's look like hall of famers, and have a knack for giving up a first on third and very long.

New England are still the champs, and never seem to go away.

    Denver will fall back.

Seattle, GB, and now Baltimore's O-lines (losing Yanda, the best OG in the game) have been reduced to rubble. Throw the G-men and Carolina in there too...it is a relative certainty that none of these teams will reach the SB, though many will make the playoffs due to their JV divisions. Just atrocious, seemingly unfix-able solutions on their OL. These aren't just missed assignments or youthful mistakes, the aforementioned teams just have some seriously awful players starting on the OL.

Atlanta or Dallas will take the NFC...teams like Det, Phi, and TB could make it interesting, but 2 of them have no playoff experience and the other is the jinxed Lions (beefed up O-line though)

Seattle is a slow starting team on offense and it's been that way throughout the RW era. They had as good a chance to win the NFC as anyone last year until they lost ET.

They can't run block nor can they pass block. I agree they'll make the playoffs due to the 3 embarrassing teams in their division, but if you think they're making the SB you're just delusional. The defense is out of this world, but once they play Atl or Dallas in the divisional game good luck with that 10.5ppg your'e averaging (against 1 defense and one quasi mediocre D so far).

Their offensive line is basically Division II NCAA level, playing against NFL caliber defensive front 7 players. But the rest of their team is awesome. Defense added Sheldon Richardson to the #1 defense in football, it's going to be ridiculous and hopefully create points for them on takeaways.

They improved their roster (especially o-line) from last year, are healthier (as of now), and if they can weather the storm through Week 8 the back half of their schedule is hot garbage. They are absolutely a WC contender, and the Bears and QB-less Vikings should only help them more.

Really, because they're RB's and Jimmy Graham are just garbage right now. Jimmy Graham is ing useless, and has lost me 2 straight FF games with a combined 4.8 fantasy points--and this is in a PPR league. They are so over-matched by the Falcons and Cowboys it's not even funny. I think you have an unhealthy Seahawk/RW fetish which blinds you from reality. They have been moving laterally since the Pats SB, with each divisional loss more embarrassing then the next. Now you have an even TIER o-line and are expecting things to magically turnaround.

Is there a more out of whack "fantasy success vs real life success" player than Jarvis Landry? He just volume catches failed screen passes and contributes to his team's success, but if you have him in a PPR league you are ing your pants today.

Their OL was already horrible back in the day except for Max Unger who was a mauler. Okung the overpriced guy on his expensive rookie contract never stayed healthy and was a liability and penalty machine in there when he was. But they had Lynch and Unger. Running game started to die after they traded Unger for, like you said, useless Jimmy Graham.

They need a RB who can truck and move the pile... Carson doesn't look to horrid, but Rawls is too weak in the upper body to run well between the tackles.

The first 5 yards of any traditional run play belong 80% to the offensive line and 20% to the running back. Yards 5-10 past the LOS belong 50% to the RB and 50% to the OL. Beyond 10 yards, it's 50% RB, 40% WRs, and 10% OL (if they can get up that far).

Yeah Minnesota without a QB won't win anything even if their defense is still top 10. Detroit should be 2nd place, but the NFC North won't get 2 in. NFC East and South are too good. They were losing most of the game week 1 at home against the sorry AZ Cardinals who took overtime just to beat the worst team in the league yesterday. Also Detroit's OL is worse without Taylor Decker. Their defense is lower tier, too. They have a couple isolated playmakers like Ansah (if healthy) and Slay, but they're not stopping anyone good.

Denver on the other hand... Denver. What to make of them. I thought they were going to win yesterday, but I thought they would beat the Cowboys 19-17 or something like that. Instead, they simply obliterated the Cowboys on both sides of the ball. They'd have 45 points if not for a missed field goal.

I might have to revise my 8-8 prediction for Denver upward, and my 9-7 prediction for LA Chargers downward, we'll see. I didn't expect Miami to be compe ive again. It's going to be interesting who is left out of the Wild Card race if the AFC West is indeed a 3 headed monster with 3 double digit win teams, and the AFC North is a two headed monster with 2 double digit win teams and 2 bad teams (Bungles are honestly worse than the Browns).

Seattle greatly benefit this season from being in the NFC West and also playing the AFC South. But their ceiling is just getting to the NFL Divisional Round. They've slowly worsened each season since their Super Bowl win because their offensive gets worse every season.

If they can't win on the road, they can go 8-0 at home and still have to go on the road (and lose) in the divisional round.

Have to admit their defense might be the best they've ever had, even better than 2013... Sheldon Richardson, and Shaq Griffin is already a beast, what a steal for them in the 3rd round at corner.

With the talent, Seattle should go 10-0 in the division and AFC South games, but knowing them they'll plausibly choke one or even two on the road somewhere. They also play 4 against the tough NFC East but they draw Washington and Philly at home so those should be wins. Dallas and NY on the road should be losses. They already lost at Green Bay and they play home to Atlanta, that one can go either way but my money's still on Seattle at home there.

That leads us to, between 10 and 13 wins for Seattle. Exactly how many they win will determine how far they get in the playoffs because against good teams, they're night and day home and away.

This has been a really frustrating year as a Ravens fan. They could be at least 2006 good if they had their complete line and chemistry between Flacco and the receivers. Just sucks all around. Still think they can be a force, though. Lots of vets on the team.

Gee, it's almost as if giving a big-money contract to Struggle Wilson was a predictably terrible idea. As soon as he signed that contract, their le-contending days were almost certainly over.

Re-signing RW was not the problem. The problem was blowing their load over Baldwin (who was nice but replaceable during the championship run and SB run the next year) and Graham, a huge mistake by Schneider -- how did they not know about his injury history and inability to block?

Their formula to success at TE were guys like Luke Willson and Zach Miller, who were first and foremost blocking tight ends who could also run simple routes efficiently and catch when called upon. They didn't need an elite but oft-injured receiving TE who can't block.
