So, you think that players should be allowed to have their gfs or wives talk about the owner so long as he can't prove that the player was directly involved?

You're really trying to shift the term "snowflake" to someone other than the SJWs.
It fits in this case tbh.

That would still qualify as being a snowflake.

He's definitely capable of b/u QB duty, but like others have said you basically have to tailor your offense to gimmickry, just like Tebow. I think a lot of people forget that Harbaugh and Roman created a "pistol" formation offense for him that hadn't been seen yet. After a year/year 1/2 of game film it/he was ineffective. We're talking about a guy who eventually lost his job to Blaine Gabbert--before this social charade ever started. I think the beef some people have with him was his timing. If he pulled this act when he was on top it would still be vilified, but the message would've resonated greater, imo. When he did it he was a scrub who was fast-losing playing time, endorsements, and the spotlight--so it came off as a desperation move to get back the attention he lost. He doesn't come off as genuine at all, either. This is the same guy who tried to date-rape a chick with molly in Miami, and also had a SC special on his collection of 500 pairs of Air Jordans (a killer in the black community). So, questionable morals/priorities + precipitous NFL decline = recipe for disaster. Again, this was all before the Anthem protesting.

He absolutely deserves to be riding the pine on some NFL roster instead of black-balled (no arguments there), but who wants that distraction now, especially as it's crescendoing? He's not good enough for anything more than a few spot-starts, and the media would be clamoring for him to start on whatever roster he was on, making the QB situation a ticking timebomb, and ultimately cause distractions and divisiveness in the locker room. From a business perspective, who wants that risk? As an owner it would be a no-win situation since you'd be bringing in a limited player with lots of baggage...and let's be honest, the people that are genuinely behind Kaepernick can't afford to go to the games, so they do nothing to positively affect an owner's bottom line.

As for the teams with serious QB issues, some are due to injured starters and the others (most of, anyways) are content to suck this year because there'll be a LOADED QB draft class in 2018.

Pernicious? He's already done that, so that argument is moot.

Hmm. All-time great MLB vs. scrub QB. But let's change the question to suit your snowflake qualifications; you're for bringing in pernicious back-up quarterbacks into a locker room?

Odd choice of words, but whatever. I don't think I've ever heard anything about him being a bad teammate, so he wouldn't be directly "pernicious." He would however be indirectly pernicious due to the media circus/sjw's that come as a package deal

I don't need to prove that CK had anything to prove to do with the tweet. It's CK's responsibility to keep his in check.

Again, you attack the medium (twitter) as if it has anything to do with anything. It's a cyber megaphone. Deal with reality, bro.

I wasn't even talking about him being a bad teammate; but apparently there's an argument for that as well.

We're told one of the issues that was raised in the meeting was ... a bunch of players felt like Colin had been acting like a "loner" -- constantly walking around the team facility with his headphones on, tuning out the rest of the team.
Our sources tell us players are frustrated because it makes Colin seem unapproachable -- and some of the vets, including Davis, felt he NEEDS to be more inclusive if he wants to be an effective leader.
We're told it's not just the headphones ... it's more complicated ... but it was raised in the meeting as one of the issues.

The 2-5 49ers, whose fall from grace is reflected in the plunge of their one-time wunderkind quarterback, have a leader whose confidence is completely lost, according to a report from Fox Sports, and his teammates aren’t exactly picking him up.
After a particularly brutal defeat to the Seahawks on Thursday, in which Kaepernick passed for just 124 yards and was sacked six times, the 27-year-old lost the game and showed signs of losing his locker room.
“His confidence is completely shot,” insider Jay Glazer said Sunday on a FOX pregame show. “It’s not that [the players] don’t like him. But he’s just alone, on an island in that locker room. There’s not a lot of people he connects with.
“Confidence-wise, he’s just buried right now.”

There is no evidence he did.
There is strong cir stantial evidence to suggest that CK was involved in the tweet.

Following Michael Vick's assessment that CK should look the part, he tweeted a Stockholm Syndrome definition that is "identifying with captors." In that case, he was too afraid to directly speak on the subject.

    See any parallels?

"attack" again with the snowflake terms. I'm emphasizing how trivial it all is.

You are free to be a snowflake and feel attacked all the time. Doesn't mean you should.

His girlfriend talked his one prospective employer. That's just beyond stupid on its face. Anyone protesting that reality is the real SJW snowflake

You're the real snowflake, hence why you spent days even avoiding directly answering the question of who you were calling a snowflake!

    Quadrupling down on your stupidity!

Onus was on you to clarify. And once I skipped by your pussy refusal to clarify at post 177 and moved onto your chicken meat, you cracked like a little really fast. You even tried to run out when I talked about the CK tweet without mentioning his sent it on his behalf. It doesn't get more snowflake than that!

When you stop pretending there's only one variable in the equation of employment as a professional athlete that resolves to the package the individual has to offer.
I never pretended that there was just one variable. In fact that's been my main point. There are people who act like the only variable leading to kaepernicks unemployment was his level of play. My argument against those folk has been exactly that there are more variables in play.

In a vacuum, his play would warrant at least a backup spot. The second variable, his political shtick, pushed it over the line

Well technically it is his level of play because it doesn't rise above the baggage that it comes with. And one way or another it's always about level of play versus the negatives.
