I suggest 5 drops of oil of oregano 3 times a day at the first sign of cold/flu and homemade chicken soup cooked with a large onion and whole head of garlic.

And not so much as a sniffle since I've been on this high fat, low carb diet - maybe there's just nothing (sugar/starch) for those viruses to feed on.

You said "I'm not surprised", because your liberal high horse showed up and you had to mount it.

A large group of people can be from anywhere at all. Whether you meet them in a store or in an airport, you're around people you know nothing about. If your immune system is compromised, you'll get sick just picking your kid up from daycare.

You get your flu shot and save the world. There's a reason everyone can get a flu shot.

Maybe you carry a different strain of flu. You should stay home.
You labeled it a high horse, got perturbed, and then proceeded to make an utter fool of yourself.
    If
    But
    But what if

Facts are this. If you carry the virus, and you come in contact with lots of people from lots of places, it's more likely to spread widely. So you are just flat out wrong. Meet them in a store or an airport... It does make a difference, you are wrong. That's it, that's all. You still don't understand.

I told you to stop. You chose to step off the cliff when you started with your silly scenarios. HEB. Moving in an airplane... Stop.

You can't be a carrier of influenza without having it.
    Yes you can.
A carrier has the virus and has very mild symptoms or none at all.

The point is that people with the virus don't even know they have it and go to school, come to the US, and on... and spread it. It is suggested by epidemiologsts to get the vaccine even if you have never had the flu symptoms, to be more exact for you.

another "care too much" post from Mr 100K+

You have almost 60k posts since 2010.
Chump had 100k posts since 2003.

    Post-frequency-shaming isn't a winning play for you.

Just like "I know your alts because I have your email address" isn't.

Yeah you have to have it like I said. Really I was just pointing out your claim that you have never had the flu. There's no way for you to know that. Best you can say is you've never been infected with an influenza strain that completely knocked you on your ass.

    True.

You can test for the antibodies however, that's how we know there are people who have been infected, but show little to no symptoms. However, I have never been tested for the antibodies. So fundamentally you are correct. But I also know that you, at least, understand what I am stating.

So the virus won't spread if you're a carrier in a store, but in an airport, the virus knows it's time to travel.

    Is that it?

You keep saying "stop" like your a bastion of scientific reasoning but you don't make any ing sense.

A building is a building, people are people. The same people who were in the airport yesterday could be in the HEB tomorrow, or at a concert you're attending, or in the waiting room at the local ER, or any number of other places you might attend. There's nothing special about an airport that makes it more susceptible to spreading a virus.

Remember, you're the carrier here so you're a given. The rest is just weakened immune systems who walk by you or come into contact with you.

Which is odd because you don't seem to. Someone who's so afraid they might be a carrier has never been tested for the antibodies.

You guys are idiots. Flu shots aren't designed to prevent the flu. It's to make the flu not as severe if infected. Similar to the pneumonia vaccine and shingles vaccine for older adults.

Viruses do not feed on sugar/starch. They don't "feed" on anything at all.
