Looks like Joffrey hasn’t bought new shoes since he was a bull
you Joffrey! the Lannisters! Long live the Starks!
Ace with the good per par.![]()
Manu trusts Kyle.
Per an earlier interview Kyle trusts no one.
Sorry about the sound gaps (not my fault). Patty takes over and talks about Kawhi's injury near the end.

Holy do I hate the Spurs PR team. What a bunch of cliche, common denominator they spew out. It's like someone's grabbing them by the balls as to not have an actual personality. Probably the same people who grab the reporters by the balls so they won't ask any real, hard-hitting questions. It's just so crazy how long-reaching the tentacles of that suppressed culture reach out. So annoying.
Nothing new here. Spurs social media sux big time.
Well said. The suppressive conservatism is boring and played out. This is probably why they struggle to fill in the seats every night.
Inb4 "THIS CULTURE WON 5 LES" with no mention of Duncan and ignoring the fact that you can still be entertaining while maintaining a tempered culture on the court and in the locker room.
Fans of the Spurs sure love to hate everything about them...
And yes, fans stopped going to Spurs games years ago on because of the "suppressive" (sic) conservatism.
Lol... "suppressive"...
If you're a fan of the Spurs you aren't allowed to question anything

You go black and white, homie. I deal in the many shades of gray and life.
Go back to simplifying your life to binary decisions.
You miss the point. It's obvious the organization doesn't allow the PR department to do anything interesting which certainly has an effect on the amount of excitement generated with the fanbase and other potential viewers/customers.
Of course long-time fans and old folks not on social media such as yourself will still get excited, but more needs to be done to get the younger demographic as well as the casual, burrito chomping, San Antonio fan to actually come to the games. It's pathetic that when you go to the games, or watch on tv, that you see so many empty seats for a team like the Spurs.
I love your assumptions. Make some more!
Anyone see this in the SA news? Seems like something LaMarcus would have done himself lol - or a fan did it as a metaphor for him turning his back on the city.

There is a thread about that
He doesn't have the balls to do something so brazen. If you gon' make a billboard about yourself turning your back on the city you're in and then talk the good talk...
Uhh...
You do something like this, you go all the way.
That's some brain-turning .
boom....They have been awul for years now and it only got worse post 2014...When the spurs built a system reputation these assholes have been basically repeating the same cliche, regurgitatd stuff over and over again. They do a terrible job of advertising their product, the players.
At this point, I think its pop and RC...Pop and RC really are the only two that benefit from these.
Thanks for posting that.
As I rambled on in his thread, I thought those comments referred to the business aspect of the NBA. Kyle's not going to get an extension and his NBA career hangs in the balance. It's understandable that he has a sense of unease and uncertainty about it. Plus, the way this summer went, he saw many players he knew get shafted by the franchises that held their rights. \
Anyways, it's too bad this interview cuts off the sound on and off.
You're welcome. Kyle's anger is understandable if a little sad that he's been jaded so quickly in his career. I do not agree with the prevailing narrative on here that the Spurs shafted Simmons or Dedmon. Simmons is making millions of dollars a year now mainly because the Spurs took a chance on him. His career is far better off for once having been a Spur, so in the big picture his animosity to the team is unwarranted. Dedmon opted out of a deal. It was his own decision. Same with Lee (though I'd like Lee back).
I don't blame RC for not extending Kyle at this point. He is still too unproven. Hopefully, this year he shows he's worth another contract for the Spurs or elsewhere. If he does, that will help produce wins for SA (for this season at least) and financial security for Anderson.
