It doesn't matter what their personal views are. Trump is commander in chief, can't be participating in anyone kneeling during the national anthem, when military are required to stand, face the flag and salute if in uniform.
People who don't particularly conjure up images of patriotism don't move me by their dissent against the symbols of it.
