Where you at? Here in the East Bay it's been ing awful. Our air quality today is so bad that if you exercise outside you're actually becoming *less* healthy. 's sake.
The ash was pretty gnarly down in the Anaheim Hills area. It was like literally snowing ash. Super eerie the next morning when the skies were foggy as heck but it still smelled like a total bonfire.
That's how it was back during the fires of 15. We put a new patio in 2 weeks before and was eerie seeing bright concrete covered in dark ash.
Yeah, that's crazy how it gets that drastically grey. These fires move with the quickness. Since I've relocated to the O.C. I've seen more fires than when I was staying in the concrete laden city of Long Beach. Crackhouses catching on fire were about all we got there.
Oh man, that's awesome. I live here in the Central Valley, and man, there is a huge difference between crackheads and meth heads. Mainly, crackheads do have crack houses for shelter. Meth heads...overpass bridges are the best they can manage.
In contrast, living in the O.C. where opioid and meth are more prevalent, I've already know which houses are actually owned by Methers and it's distinct. Like the houses West of us by one major street is where they exist. Haven't seen a crack house, but I imagine there's a few in Anaheim.
Oh man, it's bad over here. Apparently this area was ground zero for meth in the 90s. Anyone who owns a late 80s to early 00s Honda Accord or Civic has had it stolen by the tweeks here. They get so audacious, I've busted one literally in the act of stealing 5 gallon water jugs off my front porch. Moved out to the sticks and it's MUCH different for the better.
Oh those crazy tweekers. My ex's family lived in Fresno and they'd target their house like once a year. Even after putting in a security system with smartphone surveillance they still tried to break in. It's crazy tweaky out in Fresno/Sanger. After visiting there a number of times, there isn't much to do.
I'm generally passive with most hoods since everyone's a thug here except if immediate danger or if they're a tweek. I'm very, very confident tweek's just don't carry guns. If they get access to a gun, it's sold in minutes.

Oh man, they're savage when needing their quick fix cash. Last summer, a tweak made local meme fame. There was a tweek who towed a full boat for salvage on his ing bike. Straight up! Dude was using the last of his go-fast to get that POS boat to the scrap yard for all $10 they'd give him. Full 14+ boat. Oh man, I wanna see if I can find that meme or pic of this poor soul.

That is par for the course. A few years after high school, one of my friends was a frequent speed user and he was insane. One weekend, he took his Acura Integra apart. Like literally on a binge took it apart and in the process of the weekend, he put the car back together. I think at that point his family got him the help. He ended up serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Now a family man, it was crazy at how desperate he was to get a quick score to score.
That air quality isn't healthy that's for sure.

And yeah, it's getting bad. My baby's daycare just called my wife saying he's starting to wheeze from it a bit, so we put the email into the Doc right now.
They had some awful fires in Boise a month ago and we had to send 3/4 of our staff home from chest pains, headaches and nausea caused by the air quality.
Yeah, when it starts hampering the little ones, then it's serious. I know my sister has asthma and I called to check up on her, but she is fine. West L.A. is just Indica and Sativa clouds it seems.
