I think this game should end the deabte about Danny Green still being this great defender. He's trash on offense and defense
You could literally replace Danny's name with about 10 different names on the roster and the statement would still be true.

and I think this game ends the Simmons vs Green debate as well as if it was ever really a debate
Sure, let's ignore the previous games and go off this 1 game.

Doubtful. Indiana, Boston, and Warriors next week will all be losses.
Truthfully, they may not win another game all year. Amirite?

lol, way too much. Personally, I would have only offered double what he was previously getting paid, and 8 million max. If he wanted more I would have said take a hike.

Out Simmons, Pau, Patty, the only guy I wanted back was Simmons. I also thought he was worth more money than either of those two guys who were massively overpaid.

Simmons, I thought was worth 8-10 million. The other two less. Pau 8 max, Patty 8 max (as overpays). Maybe I should be working for the FO.
I meant $10 mill total not per year.

Spurs FO have actually done a worse move than those teams that overpay scrubs. Teams overpay guys they think are going to break out like the Knicks with Tim Hardaway Jr. but the Spurs have overpaid a guy that was average to begin with that doesn't really have any potential to break out. It was all based on how good of a guy they think he is and culture then with Pau, it was culture. I wanted Gasol a few years ago, and then after we got him last season and he stunk it up in the playoffs, I wanted him gone asap. They dumb s re-signed him for big money. Really bad stuff.

At least team's like the Knicks think they're signing players with potential to break out. Spurs never did that, but now they have, and not only have they done that, they've taken it a step further and signed players with not much upside to big money for other factors than Basketball.

I hope Kawhi isn't watching this and is on the phone with his agent after he's changed the channel from this show.
That last part, that's what I'm afraid if. Timmy spoiled PATFO with his loyalty, I hope they don't overestimate Kawhi's willingness to put culture over winning. At the end of the day, Kawhi has sated that he wants to go down as one of the best to ever play. Hopefully he doesn't feel like patfo isn't doing enough to help him, although I wouldn't blame him if he did.

I’m surprised Pop isn’t playing LMA. Needs to pad those stats to keep him happy.

Paul looks so comfortable out there. hope he continues to grow and be part of the rotation going forward
I don't know why Bryn Forbes got in before him as one of the first subs off the bench. Spurs needed defense. Paul and Rudy should be the first two subs off the bench. I'd even think about starting Rudy right now, but I don't want to play him too many minutes this early.

Both Fatheads need to trim their hair. Their heads are too big to have long hair that makes them look even bigger.

Oh, well that's OK then. Man, I didn't want to watch any Magic games because I knew I was going to get mad that the Spurs kept Patty and Pau on huge contracts and let Simmons walk. I might just start watching the Magic, because I actually like them better than the Spurs without Kawhi. I don't really like watching the Spurs without Kawhi much at all.

D-Rob and TD spoiled me as a fan. I can't seem to tolerate mediocre players that don't bust their ass on defense if they can't score. I liked that '96-'97 better than this. They may have sucked talent wise with all the injuries, but the guys that were there played hard.

Yea, I wouldn't oppose Rudy starting either. I do like having him off the bench, he can be the guy really.

But yea.. hopefully as the season goes on Paul gets more burn. I think they see he comes in and plays under control and smart.

That team was one of the worst in the league after losing its best player.

This team is without its first team All NBAer and is 4-1. Whatever

With that boldness, you should announce NFL games.
