    That's some big numbers, Avante

You packing ~20-25% bf or looking like Greg Kovacs?
I'm a dancer, women love a guy who can dance. Being a dncer I have that rhythm, having rhythm is the key to being a running back. This is why most are black...they have rhythm and most whites don't. I was that exaception.

I had a great burst and ran a 4.6 40on grass, but lacked "speed endurance" to be a great sprinter and way too lazy to do those 300's. So I just toyed with sprinting knowing I was limited especially with my size. There are no great 220 pound 100m cats. Good ones like Herschel Wlker and Bo Jackson but nothing special.

After my Navy days I got real serious about weight training. That was long ago and I;ve been at it ever since.

I've been pretty serious about weight training since I was 15 and my HS varsity football coach needed me to put on pounds to play with the big kids. I fell in love with the bench and squat rack, good old power exercises get your blood pumping like nothing else.

What's your best lift? Mine has gotta be shoulder press followed by deadlift.

The one lift/exercise that is the key to it all is the overhead as simple as that is. Ya could get by with just that if ya do enought sets/reps. I keep it simple and quick, I wanna get in and get out as soon as possible this way I 'll stick to it. It's now who I am, not something I do.

I take December off, totally pig out and then come Jan I, it starts all over again, takes me until around early March to start feeling like I;m suppose to.

Overhead press? I can't take more than a week off or I end up putting on pounds

I'm used to eating a lot now, when I was a kid I dieted all the time to be really skinny. Now I just work it all off, much better way of living in my opinion

This is where ya take a barbell and just lift it overhead, yep, about as simple.basic as it can get. Ya can do a set behind the head then overhead then behind the neck then overhead. I want the size so I can eat everything, I will gain 20 pounds in December, be pushing 300 pounds. Then here comes the new year and it's back to little old 275 pound me.(will take some time)

The overhead press is great yeah. Because you need to use your lower body for support it really is a whole body exercise. I like doing it with dumbells too because it puts emphasis on upper body stability.

Heaviest I've ever been was around 278 at 6'5, almost 20% body fat after a 1 month vacation in Bavaria. Never going to lose control like that again

You can alternate barbell/dumbbell days, like I mentioned, or...behind the neck. Just a great lift.

If a person is totally/100% wrapped up in serious bodybuilding to the point of nothing else matters at all, yep....great idea. But....if ya plan on living a normal life with a family and a job and friends and plan on living a long healthy life..................ya stay far FAR away from that .

Yeah, I agree. When it comes to sports I feel like controlled usage in certain sports would be okay. It does increase recovery for certain injuries.

I can't see it, knowing what we do about roids. Like I said unless a guy is just about his bodybuilding...only (like so many are at the pro level) I can't see any reasoning behind using steroids.

I suppose my vision of a Super Roid Bowl will have to be set aside

Although there are some things like HGH which really help with injuries.

It;s like a tattoo, having.....BAD TO THE BONE....across your forearm seems real cool at 25, but looks pretty stupid at 65. Why chance messing yourself up with any drugs? You will spend most your life not being a $$$$$$$$ athlete, this can't be ignored. Just like planning for that retirement.

YES...if a guy is totally....ME ME ME...the with tomorrow, then snort TNT, main line DYNO-MITE.

I agree for the most part, but sports should look into some PEDs which help with injuries at least.

There comes where we gotta draw a line for PEDs, right now it's kinda vague. Every Olympics people argue for what is a PED and what isn't

There is a list of what athletes can't have in their system, so everybody knows what is going on, so there is no...????? I do think the powers that be do need to dump some of that stuff.

There's new stuff developed every four years in time for olympics, I think some Chinese lady swimmer got in big trouble in 2012 for some allergy medicine that wasn't banned because it kinda increased her heart rate
