Great game. Julon Williams didn't play, unfortunately.
Smithson Valley knocked off undefeated Converse Judson in OT last night, 40-37.
Great game. Julon Williams didn't play, unfortunately.
I'm sure that's a big reason why.

Ok we know our OL sucks, a lot of that is due to the load of injuries. What irks me is the pathetic play of our WRs. They are soft, run poor routes, can rarely get open, and drop too many passes. Also, why are we having so much trouble finding just 1 quality TE? It is one of the worst positions on our team.
Thank goodness our D is so good, would be outright dominant if the O could carry its weight.
Ok then...
That was possibly the most boring, predictable game of all time.
The best line from bored announcers during the game that kept me watching and listening:
The Texas defense again has a chance to stop TCU.
I was unaware we could win a game merely by stopping TCU. It's a good thing our offense does not count.

Context:
We ran 70 Fckn plays ...... 7 pts
Oklahoma ran 76 plays.... 62 pts
And we are supposed to recruit offensive players against them... Maybe we can have a starting OL of all true freshman next year... There might be spots open.
Add to this, our receivers gave up. Tom can't say heads did not go down, because they did.
Patterson ate us alive. Again.
Last rant...
Our QBs are getting killed. Someone is going to die. If we had a TCU type defense to play the rest of the schedule, anyone picked for starter would be considered football fodder, expendable collateral damage.

3 things from the TCU game:
1- Personnel decisions on offense are a real head-scratcher.
2- The offensive game plan leaves little to be desired (again).
3- Man, son can kick the out of a football.
if only there were a scrambling qb on the roster to help the o line.........................
Per OrangeBloods, LB DaShaun White of Richand will be officially visiting UT next weekend for the Kansas game.
This one could start trending to the good guys soon with word already getting out that Sumlin will be fired.
My guess is the staff will do their best to load up on visitors for this game since the only home game left is Thanksgiving weekend.
OrangeBloods also confirmed that five-star WR Terrace Marshall of Bossier City, LA will take an official visit to UT next weekend.
What would the best scenario be for the timing in Sumlin's firing? for our recruiting.
Can we count on the play army guys to do us a favor?
Or Maybe we just need the rumors...
24/7 reporting LB Ayodele Adeoye is no longer scheduled to be in Austin for the Kansas game.
He didn't give a reason, but IMG does have a game that evening.
If Sumlin goes maybe Texas can get 2 or 3 OL from them ala Baylor.
