Kawhi is a great player, but it's on him to grab this team by the balls and become the true alpha leader. That means on the floor, in the locker room, vocally. Not some old crusty ass coach who doesn't even want to be there anymore.

Until that happens, this team will be spinnng it's wheels.

During tonight's game, I was wondering, has Kawhi even been sitting on the bench the past few games? I haven't seen him there at all.

If Kawhi gets injured again this season when he comes back then he's injury prone

Regular season literally doesn't matter as long as they avoid the 8 seed. And ideally the 4-5.

I hate hearing “regular season doesn’t matter” because it matters for A LOT of teams. You have to win in the regular season to make it and a lot of teams have to worry about that. We’ve been so lucky but people who say that are spoiled. When this team finally starts losing (it eventually always happens) then you won’t be saying that. We just so happen to be a good enough team still to make it without Kawhi but it’s impor for him to get healthy soon so we won’t have to cut it close. But I want him to be 100% of course.

Spurs can't rush him back until he's 100% healthy. He is the franchise player for the next 5+ and Spurs need to protect that. It's Anderson, Bertan, Forbes (22 last night), White, specially Murray who need to take the opportunity that they deserve the minutes.

Man you guys are wigged out....he needs to get healthy...you can't step up if you're not healthy. They said he needed 2 weeks, a week ago, so give him another week. Ya got nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

He was almost super human with all the monster slams last year, probably just wear and tear for a guy that's only 6-7.

This year we have NBA potential in Malik Pope, senior, 6-10, more talented than Kawhi was in college, but he's broke his leg twice. Not as strong as Kawhi. He was a 5 star, we only got him cause he was coming off a broken leg. If he can stay healthy this year he would be worth a shot. Youtube him.
