Going for three straight wins tonight as we host the Clippers, who started the season off hot but have lost 4 of their last 5. Will be a different dynamic facing them without CP3. No reason we can't win this game too. Let's get it.

Tony was definitely shooting them and I still don't like that they told him to not shoot many during the middle part of his career. Still something I disagree with whoever told him not to shoot them after his first few years in the league (not sure if it was Chip or Pop or someone else). If he had a consistent three point shoot right now, he would have aged much better.

The Spurs have lost 6 out of the last 9 games against the Clips. Expect at least one DeAndre poster tonight with the likely victim being Pau.

Hopefully Daddy Doc doesn't own Pop again. It's getting tiresome. It's bad enough that Pop has another Dad in Kerr.

NBA rookie, yes. But he's been a pro overseas for years.

Kerr is far from Pop's dad

Kerr absolutely is, his teams can sleepwalk entire halves against the Spurs and still win by 20+.

Pop has zero answer for the Warriors, his bigs are too soft to consistently punish them and the Spurs 3 point shooting pales greatly in comparison to the Warriors. Kerr has a well oiled machine while Pop is trying to run a beaten up IBM from the early 90's.

Kerr has an all time talented team tbh. He's been missing for over half a season with spinal injuries an his team was on auto.

    This.

I'm pretty sure I could coach a team of Durant, Curry, Green, and Thompson to the Finals. And I've never coached basketball from anything but my armchair.

On top of that Kerr stole all of the Spurs plays from the 2014 and incorporated them on the Warriors. I like to see how great of coach Kerr is in 5-7 years when the Warriors core is past their primes and he has to reinvent himself.

Clippers are that team the Spurs can never figure out. They usually lost to them even when Paul and Blake were both injured. Now Paul, Re and Crawford are all gone. But I expect Gallo and Lou to replace Re and Crawford. And Blake will make every jump shot like usual. And Beverly has Spurs killer tendencies.

It should be a good test.

Gallo is out tonight, but I still expect Griffin and DeAndre to go off on the Spurs tonight and get the win.

That happened once to us that really matters, and that was last season when GS was without Durant .. people counting this year or the playoffs sans Kawhi? That's kinda silly.

Until Kerr beats Pop in a playoff series (actually multiple) where at the very least our MVP isn't injured, then we can talk about that. Even then it's a stretch with that team he has, but that would at least be somewhat relevant.

This team is having that 2015 injury bug feel to it right out the gate.
