Pop said that he's been dealing with it so it's safe to assume that it is maybe chronic. If it is chronic than weeks would be on the short end. We may be looking at months here fellas.

Kawhi was working all summer with his longtime trainer Randy Shelton at SDSU Jam.

Many guys saw him there and talked about how good he looked. In fact, there were IG videos of him in summer practices that fans posted on ST Off-season thread. He just had ice after work-outs but everyone thought it was normal esp in off-season.

So it's not like Kawhi didn't practice for months.

It was in training camp that Spurs' doctors re-evaluated the injury and said he needed an intensive rehab. Even Kawhi thought he would miss just a week.

Maybe if the same doctors would have told him he needed to rest all summer, Kawhi would be playing now...But cleary, the first diagnosis approach wasn't right.
