Maccaca is a scrub. So much masturbation occurs in here over any scrub the Warriors sign.
He can make a corner three. That pretty much beats KA alone.

That's fine. It's not one I'm going to be able to support very well. Captivus is likely to come back to with stats showing Giannis hasn't been a bad passer and that him "holding the ball" hasn't made a difference in wins or losses. My issue with Giannis winning MVP would be that isoing on a mediocre team -- whether he has help or not -- is not what the award should be about. It was bad enough that Westbrook became the first MVP to be bounced in the first round since 2007 because people fell in love with triple-doubles. This would just be that to absurdity.
Well, if you put it that way, than I might agree.
The "what is really an MVP" discussion will never end.

I do agree with the Westbrook MVP, only because of the triple double. I mean, Its not a minor thing, regardless.

Maybe the MVP should be the player that most teams would want to have playing with them. But maybe, the answer is always Lebron...so...thats boring.
    Maybe the highest PER...idk.
As long as it is a subjective decision, we are gonna talk about that.
But thats a topic for another thread.

    Well...good game by the Spurs!

Giannis is a guy still trying to learn how to win basketball games, stats or no stats. Bledsoe has never figured out how to win games. The team IQ certainly didn't rise with this trade.

A dude on RealGM called that one of the worst contracts the Spurs have ever given out. s over there.
Not even close .It took me the first week of the season to realize he would be huge bargain/steal for the price tag. I'm stunned at how good he looks this early..

Is the daddyhood over? Or should we wait for the next games against them to confirm it?

Our bigs and pseudo-bigs (LMA, Pau, Kyle, Rudy) did a nice job on Blake and Jordan tonight.

Jesus is this really his 5th year? Left UCLA after his freshman year at 19, right? Damn time flies.
No it’s his 4th but he was 20 when he was drafted. He was a sop re, 2 yrs in college. Dijon was a freshman and was 19 when drafted, now 21(in September too go figures).

Does Costello suck so bad that he can't get in even with the injuries? May as well have signed Brimah.
I just think at this point if Pop calls Costello up from the GLeague Davis is going to ask for a trade. Something has to be up.

    Victory

Rudy looks like he's recovered from the achilles better than anyone since Dominique.
    Very much so wow.

My only guess is that Pop thinks he'll need those 45 games down the line to rest LMA or Pau. Truth be told, he's managed to keep both guys from being overworked pretty well, but he's sort of pointlessly playing with fire by not having a fourth legit big.
Probably a better take than mine. I hadn’t seen this. It’s possible you are right. When Kawhi is back Pop might want to rest Lamarcus more and micromanage the bigs minutes (specially after the All Star Break, after Lamarcus got his minutes relevant for the voting).

Last time Spurs had three 20-point scorers not including Duncan, Parker, Ginobili or Kawhi: It was 1997 and they were Dominique Wilkins, Cory Alexander and Monty Williams.
