I am again going to have to view this as some sort of power play. As simple as it sounds, the type of people who get butthurt about a celebrity being made fun of, the type of person who defends them on social media for instance, with a comment like, "oh yeah? he's worth millions and has millions of fans. who are you?" are the types, and the more extreme riders, are partially to blame for this kind of deviant behavior as well. They're the ones that basically state, "you're rich and famous, I accept you as better than me.".
