Is Fox News Ditching Roy Moore?

Moore did not help his own cause in his interview with Sean Hannity.

Hannity then turned to a panel of three pundits, asking them whether Moore sufficiently defended himself against the damning allegations of child molestation and sexual misconduct

“You ended his candidacy,” declared Geraldo Rivera, citing Moore’s inability to unequivocally say that he had never dated teenage girls when he was in his 20s and 30s,

Gregg Jarrett, a Fox News legal analyst, was no more kind.

“I found his answers to be unconvincing and implausible, his entire story to be, in a word, unbelievable. Which means he’s lying.”

Jarrett said Moore “should step aside.”

As for the demands of “proof” made by Hannity and other Moore supporters, these have been called a cynical ploy to undermine the credibility of his accusers

“We have four women who don’t know each other,

four women who never met each other,

one of whom admits to being a longstanding Republican," she said.

"Where would they come up with this story?”

Roy Moore's predatory predilections informed his warped sense of justice as a judge

In a 2015 case involving a man, David Pittman, who pleaded guilty to raping an underage girl, Mr. Moore wrote in a dissenting opinion that Mr. Pittman should have been allowed to introduce evidence showing his alleged victim’s parents “suspected her of sexual activity,” because it could be relevant to discerning her “alleged motive” in claiming she had been assaulted.

And in a 2014 case, involving a man convicted of abusing two underage girls, Mr. Moore wrote in a dissenting opinion that the man, Sherman Tate, should have had the chance in court to demonstrate that his accusers were romantically involved with each other. Mr. Moore wrote that connection “could be relevant to the victims’ alleged bias against Tate.”

if the jury had been privy to information about the victim's parents’ concern that their daughter was already sexually active, would that have discredited her enough to cast doubt on her claim that she had been raped?

Moore's dissenting opinion in a 2014 rape case involving a 37-year-old man found guilty of sodomizing two 15-year-old girls while he was working at a youth advocate program they attended is equally, if not more, egregious. Alabama's AL.com writes:

In his dissent, Chief Justice Moore said he felt that if Tate's attorneys had been able to enter evidence of the girls' "romantic relationship," it might have shown their "alleged bias against Tate or their collusion." The possibility of cross-examining the victims about their relationship also could have produced relevant information to the defense, he wrote.

"Tate's knowledge of the victims' romantic relationship, coupled with the fact that Tate informed the mother of one of the victims of that relationship, would make the proposed cross-examination relevant to show that the victims had possibly fabricated the charges against Tate," Moore said in his opinion.

Moore stated his opinion that a jury may have come to a different conclusion if the accused had a chance to introduce evidence related to their sexual behavior.

Because anyone who engages in same-sex relations is clearly not credible.

Moore identifies with the accused and feels they should have every opportunity to discredit the victims of their sexual assaults.

This is how justice is meted out by a man who approached a 14-year-old girl at a court hearing with her mother,

offered to watch over the minor as a favor, and

then preyed on her vulnerability and the trust

he had engendered with her mother.

iow, Moore is the IDEAL Senator to carry the flag for the Repug Rape Caucus.

Ditzy Devos and her Mens' (Rapists) Rights supporters must be cheering Moore's candidacy.

New Report Just Exposed How Republicans Plan To Steal Alabama Race, With Or Without Moore

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is working furiously to extricate the GOP from this slow motion train wreck.

News today reveals he’s considering every trick in the book to either compel Moore to drop out, or maneuver his own hand-picked replacement onto the ballot – anything to steal the seat that Democratic candidate Doug Jones appears poised to win.

Republicans are considering asking in bent Sen. Luther Strange, who lost to Moore in the primary, to run as a write-in candidate on Dec. 12.

They’ve also reportedly asked Republican Rep. Robert Aderholt, who has officially endorsed Moore, to run as a write-in candidate as well.

If Moore loses, that majority will drop to 51-49, which means the GOP can afford only a single defection

If Moore wins, they’ll maintain their current, slightly safer 52-48 majority for now, but then

they’re going to have to explain to voters across the country in 2018 why they allowed an accused sexual predator to take a seat in the hallowed aisles of the Senate.

    More advertisers are dropping Hannity

Five major companies that have advertised on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show publicly distanced themselves from Hannity over the past two days by either removing their ads or indicating that they will not advertise on his show in the future.

These public statements -- from 23andme, ELOQUII, Keurig, Nature’s Bounty, and realtor.com, come

in the wake of Hannity’s support for Alabama Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore and his suggestions that the four women who accused Moore of sexual misconduct this week are lying.

In August, Media Matters called on Hannity’s advertisers to stop financially supporting his lies and extremism and warned that Hannity’s volatility made him a business risk. The companies who spoke out this week join Cadillac and E-Trade among other brands that no longer wish to be associated with the Fox host.

Hannity’s advertiser losses from the late summer are part of the reason Fox’s revenue has begun to drop precipitously.

I'm not sure she had much to "out" him for in that statement. It's creepy as but technically picking up 18 year olds isn't illegal. It's something that should destroy your reputation, though, yet he seemed to advance easily despite the reputation appearing to be pretty well known. (Probably because he said Jesus a lot.)

She's a woman in 1970s South who you are asking to make a serious accusation against her boss, the county prosecutor. Cheap insistence like yours is easy but 40 years ago it was much more likely that she would get railroaded than a beltway newspaper breaking a story that busts the case open for her. You really think the local police in a southern town would help her or would you expect her to hire a PI and do it herself?

I doubt they seriously fear losing in Alabama, they only fear losing voters in other states if a pedo gets into the Senate.

Dimwit, Weiner was made a pariah and Hollywood is not running for office nor holding positions in the DNC.

What I don't see from the dems is the excuse making and pass giving like I have seen with Moore, Hastert, Thomas, and all of the GOP sexual deviants.

Roy Moore Cast The Sole Vote In Favor Of A Man Who Raped A Four-Year-Old

The Alabama Supreme Court had the opportunity to hear the case of one Eric Lemont Higdon, a man accused and convicted of two sodomy charges due to sexual assault against a four-year-old at Mama’s Place Christian Academy in Clay, Alabama.

One of those convictions was first-degree sodomy of a child less than 12 years old. The other conviction was first-degree sodomy by forcible compulsion. Essentially, the first conviction was for statutory rape; the second for forcible rape.

Higdon’s conviction on the forcible rape charge was eventually overturned on appeal. The state, by way of prosecutor Luther Strange, appealed that decision and the Alabama Supreme Court took the case up for review.

Eight of the nine justices on the panel found that the appeals court had erred.

Their legal logic was such that

a 17-year-old’s sexual assault of a four-year-old was enough to produce in the mind of the four-year-old, an “implied threat of serious physical injury.”

The decision was reversed and remanded and Higdon’s conviction was reinstated.

Roy Moore dissented from that opinion.

    He wrote:

Because there was no evidence in this case of an implied threat of serious physical injury…or of an implied threat of death, Higdon cannot be convicted of sodomy in the first degree “by forcible compulsion.”

    https://lawnewz.com/high-profile/roy...four-year-old/

The 4-year old asked for it, it was his fault.

It's mostly only right wing nut jobs that immediately associate Hollywood with Democrats. I mean it's liberal but it's not something normal people think about when they go to vote. Also most people don't know who Anthony Wiener is. They will know a pedophile senator and they know Trump so they is why people are do desperate to try and associate Dems with them but unless famous currently running for office Democrat comes out it's a waste of time

It's not about them saying no it's out bring under age where we all agree they can't legally consent.

If it's high schools and malls she probably assumed they weren't just 18. Either she was afraid her to have her career ruined by outing her boss or she didn't want to get involved since she would have to investigate and try to get one if these girls and they might not want to. Or maybe just selfish and didn't want to stick her neck out.

In that one case, sure, but in many of the other cases women are saying "20 years ago I was raped, on two separate occasions, by the same guy, in his apartment.."

If you get raped and get out, then you go back for another go, that's just called ing.

Yeah, if the Republicans don't try to push another candidate, Moore will probably win but he's going to be a pretty big albatross around the party's neck. This Weinstein business brought about a sea change in how these kinds of sex crimes are treated.
Strange, as a write in candidate, with GOP backing and actually condemning Moore would help but it would almost certainly split the vote and Jones would have a pretty good chance of winning making it 49-51 in Congress and virtually impossible to repeal Obamacare or get Tax Reform done because they can only lose two votes and still pass it. McCain, Corker, Flake, Collins, and Murkowski have all become mavericks, and either way could blow up those goals.
