Just watching the game now; end of third; the one junior ref over ruling the other junior ref on a late call? What kind of bull is that? The LMA lil push was way before the moving screen, too. And it was not going to be called otherwise. TOTAL BULL .

Spurs had a trash third and it still took some dreadful calls. 7 and 5 without our best player and 2 rotational players. It's going fine.

we lost this game 'cause we were sloppy and soft while they were reactive...we took no contested balls and lost a lot of rebounds. No people except Manu Lma and Mills ready to dive for the ball. The energy level for 100 per cent in bucks favor. What is weird is that we had a three days rest...

Why the is Mills taking crazy threes three feet behind the three point line early in the shot clock with under two minutes left in a two-point game?

Pop did the best he could imo...Spurs just don't match up with the Bucks without Kawhi and for obvious reasons. I gotta give Pop credit tho so far this year. He's really coaching his ass off and getting the best out of a team without a Top 5 player.
The Spurs match up well enough with MKE, length-wise. Mills and Bledsoe were a relative wash, as were Green and Snell and Kyle and Middleton. The latter two probably favored SA. Then LMA was kicking ass when he got to match up against Giannis, and Henson wasn't doing against either Pau or LMA when he wasn't allowed to goaltend. People have been keen to bow to Milwaukee's length, but it was only an issue when Pop went small. Of course, he was never going to be able to stay big for 48 minutes, but Pau was underplayed in this game. He could have easily closed with them both in down two, but he instead wanted to stick with Mills chucking, Green turning it over and Gay looking ineffective on both ends.

This game was without a closer Kawhi to finish the game. That’s all and too many turnovers. I like Kyle aggressiveness and should help when everybody’s back. Mills will be back to backup putting buckets on spurts when TP gets back. It was a disappointing loss but Spurs were without 3 good players. And Bucks played aggressive. My hat off to Kidd pushing when they smelled blood

Pop can do better than giving Patty getting 37 minutes. Paul only got 9 minutes, as did Murray.

Would have loved to see a Manu, Paul, Green, Kyle, LA lineup. Or a Paul, Forbes, Green, Kyle , LA lineup.

wondering why Patty took so much heat tonight.... anyone look at Danny's stat line? We just played bad as a whole. Not our game. On to the next one. We got the Bulls.
I think the Patty criticism is due to him chucking contested jumpers to close out that game, instead of running the offense and pretty much ignored Lamarcus down the stretch. Team looking discombobulated was very much on him at the end as he was the PG. Manu said it, they forgot to involve Lamarcus to close out the game, that’s at least 50% on Mills.

Patty was taking heat every time he missed shot. Can't defend the end of game though. Pop mentioned about that. Thing about Mills though, he's gonna look for that. He's more of a shooting guard than a point. Missed Parker for his better PG play and Leonard with his closing skills. If you get the switch of Gianiss onto LMA which is problematic, they don't have a suitable defender for Leonard or even Gay if in. But Gay had a rough night.

Yeah, have repeatedly seen Spurs and people on this board seemingly equate lack of traditional bigs and athleticism with length. Spurs probably have the most long armed rotation players in the league . . .

    Henson: 7'5''
    Antetokounmpo and Maker: 7'3''
    Parker and Snell: 6'11.5''
    Middleton: 6'10.75''
    Brogdon: 6'10.5''
    Bledsoe: 6'7.5''

    Aldridge: 7'4.75''
    Gasol: 7'4''
    Gay and Leonard: 7'3''
    Anderson: 7'2.75''
    Paul: 6'10.25''
    Green: 6'10''
    Murray: 6'9.5''

The problem is the Spurs are seemingly unwilling to use a gameplan/system to utilize that length advantage while Milwaukee is all about abusing it. Also need to consider that Milwaukee is both length and athleticism while the Spurs lack the latter.

In an attempt to leverage their combination of athleticism/length, Bucks play an aggressive/trapping defense, that the league began to exploit 2 seasons ago (under Kidd, they've finished 2, 22, t-17 and are currently 26), particularly via corner 3's.

Spurs play a more conservative defense, that leverages their length and collective IQ, while attempting to mask their lack of athleticism. They've finished 3, 1, 1 and are currently t-9, in the same timeframe.

    Never mistake activity for achievement.

Interesting observation on the Bucks. I just read a post by a bucks fan on real gm in which he said that he wasn't still impressed by the Bucks D last night and that the Bucks were lucky the spurs missed a lot of open corner 3's.
