Fantastic comeback on offense and they finally crumbled under our defensive pressure. If nothiing else, this team can be interesting this season.
What has been surprising is that Pop didn't give them those opportunities b4 in all his seasons. It was JSimms who get them the most after Manu and Mills, then Dejounte. He is showing things that he had that he hadn't been given the opportunity to show.

It's like someone said. He'll find excuses to get the longer tenured players in because of body of work, but it's in his hands imo. He's a heady player and he makes few mistakes. Those kind of players rise in the ranks fast with Pop.
Davis is perfect to use against OKC, tbh. He pulls them out of the paint ala classic Red Rocket and they can't exploit is lack of lateral movement.
We must have him.
We have no real ballhandlers. No one person on this team presently can handle PG for the whole season. It's committee.
Green F'N just s the ball to Manu at the end of the game. I don't want it... Manu is willing to be the guy to stink. Or rescue. It's hard to find guys with the large cajones.
Play Kyle at point, tbh.
Well imo he had opportunities but let me use this analogy, he's like Adrian from Rocky. No one seen anything pretty about her. She didn't so anything to stand out, she was just there. Same with Kyle. He's done the right thing for three years and is finally taking the glasses off.
J Simms on the other hand made flashy plays and got noticed. He's not here now, but Kyle is. His time is now. Just be happy![]()

Agreed. He's earned Pop's trust. I think Gay, Manu, and Fathead are the three guys that are guaranteed major minutes off the bench.
Yep.. And Patty when Tony comes back.
Gotcha . Well I think thus far he's earned his playing time. Of course he'll see a dip in minutes, but I can't see him not being a rotation player unless he starts playing super passive again. But I think he's solidified himself a rotation spot this year.
Agreed. If he was better defensively, man... He'd be special
Yup. I agree.
Parker/Green/Leonard/LMA/Gasol
Mills/Ginobili/Kyle/Gay/Joff
Murray, Paul, Forbes, Bertans will be used situationally and for energy. Kyle gets the nod because he's proving he can be played in the clutch. Murray and others haven't proven that yet
I am happy Davis came through BillMc. Really happy for your guy. He had the perfect role as bench sparkplug and hit big shots that were key to get back and ahead.![]()
He's got all the wires to be a better shotmaker in the playoffs. We all know Red Mamba's dynamic. Bertans has a history of hitting clutch shots in big games.(Euro but hey)
Cheers.
And I like Pop playing Kyle as a point. Works really well in the small sample size. Need to see that more often.
Parker at his age, declining skill set, injuries isn't gonna be a starter Bill. You can bank on that.
Yep. I don't think he'll be afraid of the moment. Dude overcame two major knee injuries and a lost finger to play in the NBA. How can anyone not root for him?
Man, I'd love that. Share PG duties with Kawhichael and Imagine all the length on defense. Pop would probably never do it though.
well put

Kyle, Green, Kawhi, Gay, LA. Switch 1 through 5. I hope it's an idea that crosses Pop's mind at least for crunch time.
I concur.![]()
Kawhi is gonna have the ball in crunch time. Fact.
What does fathead bring that improves the flow of offense from there?![]()
Do people ing live in fantasy world all the time?
You may not like it, but that's fact. Can anyone dispute it? Also taking out your best duo lineup.![]()
That's our team
