And we still have tough debates when our children actually have rights to decide certain individual preferences and when parents have the right to shame, spank, embarrass their children.

conservative Jews put women off in another room and basically do the same treatment as a subclass. Strict Christians take the man as the head of the household to extremes as well. I have been to a number of Christian weddings where the vows sounded like the woman was ready to be sold into slavery. Judeo-Christians presented the idea of individual rights and Liberty but then some emphazied biblical leanings indicating the woman as second class. Kinda like we were blind to our cons ution with slaves. Both Strict Muslims and Conservative Jews seem to think men can't control their member therefore the women need to be shuttered off and totally covered. By far the largest number of Muslims live in Indonesia. More than all the other actual Islamic States put together.
