Damn, he wanted out quick.
Orangebloods has confirmed he will indeed transfer.
Damn, he wanted out quick.
I'd guess Shane, Collin or Toniel in that order of odds that they be the unnamed player.
No one else I can think of would be a "major" loss.
So when is Shane gonna transfer
I'm waiting for it.
He would be a "bad loss" in the sense that you're left with Ehlinger and two freshmen, but my feeling is they're not referring to him.
24/7 is saying Orlando will be visiting with White this evening now. They feel this is a Texas Vs. OU battle now that Stumlin's gone.
I would guess that while Boyd might entertain the idea, his feedback would be late rounder to UFA. Another year playing at a high level would be the best option. As far as player leaving that would hurt...my guess is Deshon Elliott.
Per 24/7, Texas had an in-home visit with DL Ronnie Perkins last night. Texas has not given up on the OU commit, even though he's going to be a tough flip.
Just for clarity...Elliott was discussed separately from the mystery guy since he was included as a possible NFL entry, so it's not him.
Whoever the mystery player is, he hasn't been mentioned much before (if at all).
-Traore is the only JUCO OL with an offer, but they're monitoring the Johnson kid from Arizona Western. There doesn't seem to be a lot of urgency on that front.
-I think Jefferson, Hill and Elliott are gone. I lean towards Omenihu returning right now because that would be in his best interest, but he's watching three of his boys (all from the same recruiting class) leave the team and may want to take his chances.
Not surprised Boyd wants to see how high he's graded by the NFL but while I think he can be drafted I don't think it'll be high enough for him to leave. His 1st half of the season wasn't great but he turned in a good 2nd half of the season.
This is why I think Boyd wants to try himself for the NFL his best bro Hill is bouncing. Omenihu is the name that shocks me trying to come out. He a lot like Boyd would do well with another year but Boyd at least has stats to back him. Omenihu just flashes a lot but isn't very productive.
Football Braniacs reporting promising news on Terrace Marshall but I have no idea what it is.
Quote from his father comparing the LSU official and the Texas official:
“Texas visit still got a little edge to me”.
Surprising considering how well LSU finished the season.
The Football Brainiacs saying Coach Beck will have an in-home visit with QB Cameron Rising tonight.
Here's the running list of who's out and on the rumor mill to be moving on so far. Stole this from a poster on another site.

About 1/4 of the roster turning over if that holds.
And that list doesn't even mention possibilities like Buechele, Houston, Townsend or Christmas-Giles.
I'm officially hoping we don't get anymore DBs or Wrs and focus strickly on getting 5 or 6 olinemen with at lease 2 of them being Jucos.
We started out the year with 18 scholarship linemen.
Lost Jean Delance, and Brandon Hodges to transfer, lost numerous guys to injuries and now we are going into the spring without 4 guys that would make up a huge amount of our depth. As far as I can tell here is what we have coming back
Sam Cosmi OT
Zach Shackleford C
Tope Imade G
Patrick Vahe G
Derek Kerrstettler G/OT
J.P. Urquidez OT
Elijah Rodriguez OT
Patrick Hudson G
Denziel Oakafor G/OT
If we ever want to climb out of this offensive line purgatory we need to seriously get two or three juco guys to come in. I'd settle for a couple of grad transfers right now.
As far as Beck is concerned, I'd like to keep him one more year, but I want to see Warehime hit the road, he sucks as a coach and recruiter.
The Aggsy oline coach is the real deal, I'd love to get him here. I'd even money whip Bruce Matthews out of retirement to come in and coach the oline.
Wow, I completely forgot about Houston and Townsend being on the roster. Also, I don't agree with everyone saying Carter is a potential transfer candidate. I see him having a significant role next year and I think he knows it.
Texas has offered JUCO OT Mikey Grandy (College of San Mateo, California)
