I'll play along dip . Flynn will testify that he was told to discuss sanctions with Russia while the previous administration who implemented the sanctions were still in office. It's amusing watching GOPo s use Flynn taking a lesser charge in a plea deal as mitigating evidence. What is the point of taking a plea deal if not to get a lesser charge?
The thing is to get a real sweet deal like Flynn did you have to have something that prosecutors really want and that a judge is going to agree is in the best interest of justice. I only posted over a half dozen federal attorneys discussing that dynamic last night.
