He’s saving guys for the B2B, Is my guess too. Interesting that he’s not resting Manu. Maybe Manu will be the one rested tomorrow.

Also, I think he wants to give opportunities to the guys at the end of the rotation.

Damn. You've ditched the subtle game completely since the greatest guard in Spurs history came back and is carrying scrubs....

Too bad you didn’t start the game thread. We could’ve eliminated Westbrook entirely.

Great move, IMO. Keeps our main guns fresh for our big game tomorrow against Detroit. And it will probably deflate OKC's excitement for this game, which could open the door for an upset.

Just play the damm game with your normal guys. Way too much over analyzing by Pop.

Try playing five minutes in the NBA, let alone 5 in 7 nights, before commenting on the wear and tear it puts on your body. Parker is coming off an injury, Gay is a year from a torn Achilles, Kawhi isn’t back yet, and Aldridge has had heavy usage. You play the guys for the more winnable game and give the fans a chance to see the full squad. Better than staggering rest and putting both games in jeopardy. Don’t forget the league is cracking down on resting guys, so this is one of the few chances they can legitimately take.

Pop, with the NBA troll goods. This is the first of a five in seven days. Those were supposed to be all but eliminated.

WestChimp went played 38 minutes, went 9/22, of course got his triple double and pounded his chest a bunch of times, beating our 3rd stringers by only 3 points. Paul George went 2/17 and yet his highlight is on the NBA Instagram. So glad we benched guys for this game. NBA is a joke

Spurs keep dropping like flies. The resting isn’t doing much to prevent that.
